I'm living near gokarna u don't have to pay 300 for auto they are making u fool for 10km journey u should pay 100to150 maximum they are taking advantage of outside visitors
That is true! They are up for bargain and some times they agree for 150 but you need to bargain strongly 😂 And also, I believe the local bus from the main road (about 900 metres from station gate) takes you to Gokarna bus stand for just 10-15 Rs! These buses are at an interval of 30 mins or so during the day time. From around 7 am to 7 pm Not very frequent at night! So that’s a good budget option too 😄

Hi, To the best of our knowledge, Netrani Island is the only good place for Scuba near Gokarna. We haven’t heard of any other place near Gokarna yet. If you come across anything else, please update us here in comments as it would be helpful for other travellers as well! Also, please be sure with your research incase you come across any other place, in terms of visibility, safety and it being a genuine scuba experience. Good luck for your trip, hope it was helpful. Yes, October is a good time to visit. Cost per head for 2 days would depend on a lot of things, your group size, the property you stay at, where you eat, activities you undertake. But if you were to do everything in the most budget way possible, you can expect the cost to be around 4-5k per head.
Wow! This sounds amazing! We currently don't have all the details, however the moment we find anything helpful, we'll make sure to update via comments and description of this video! Thanks so much for the heads up!

Hey Mridula, we have stayed at Halfway Home a couple of times before they had a dormitory, but we have always been satisfied with our stay there. While I would personally trust them, if possible, do check out some latest photos and reviews of the property, that should give you a more informed answer. If you do happen to visit Gokarna and stay there or anywhere else, please get back to us with your review, we get a lot of queries about stays and it will really help out other travellers! Thanks in advance! 🙌🏻
Our experience at halfway moon was great. The dorm was newly done up, super comfortable and clean. It has a very homely and peaceful vibe Food was good too, do try their pizza and kamboucha
Hi, starting at 3 PM will make it too close to the deadline. The last ferry back from Paradise beach usually stops by 5-6 PM. So if you are starting late, we recommend you start from Paradise and walk towards Kudle beach so in case you are late, you can still reach back Om/Kudle beaches and find autos if needed! Stay safe, avoid unnecessary risks, and make sure to travel responsibly and avoid throwing trash anywhere! Hope you have a great trip!

How is the halfway home dormitory?
Hey Mridula, we have stayed at Halfway Home a couple of times before they had a dormitory, but we have always been satisfied with our stay there.
While I would personally trust them, if possible, do check out some latest photos and reviews of the property, that should give you a more informed answer.
If you do happen to visit Gokarna and stay there or anywhere else, please get back to us with your review, we get a lot of queries about stays and it will really help out other travellers!
Thanks in advance! 🙌🏻
Our experience at halfway moon was great. The dorm was newly done up, super comfortable and clean. It has a very homely and peaceful vibe
Food was good too, do try their pizza and kamboucha
Bro, can we start the trek by eve 3pm..??
Hi, starting at 3 PM will make it too close to the deadline. The last ferry back from Paradise beach usually stops by 5-6 PM.
So if you are starting late, we recommend you start from Paradise and walk towards Kudle beach so in case you are late, you can still reach back Om/Kudle beaches and find autos if needed!
Stay safe, avoid unnecessary risks, and make sure to travel responsibly and avoid throwing trash anywhere!
Hope you have a great trip!
