    Hi friends! I hope you enjoy making Claudia! This is a bale-less pendant design, using two round base wires and 28g weaving wire. This is a beautiful way to create jewelry using your lovely round cabochons. It's a unique design and offers many variation opportunities, using the extended wires. You might see this mid-way through the tutorial, how you could use the wires to create beautiful cuff bracelets or bar necklaces. I show how and where to add an additional 20g decorative wire to the frame... you could also add more than one if you wanted more wire on the design.
    I hope this tickles your imagination and inspires you to see your round cabs in a fresh way. Much love! As always, tools and materials are listed in the first 20 seconds of my video.
    Have fun! Thanks for watching, please remember to Subscribe, Like, and Share my channel with all of your wire wrap and wire weave-loving friends!

    So enjoy your tutorials! ...watching your creative process is so grounding. I tend to watch you when I'm between projects. Those times when I need to give my hangs a break or just haven't decided what to do with components I've created. Thanks so much! (I always chuckle when you say, "No need to kill it"😄) This is a great option - hidden bail. Love it.

    Absolutely stunning. Thank you so much. How did you polish it? With a polishing cloth?

    • @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry
      @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry  5 днів тому

      I use a Dremel, fabric wheel and Fabuluster compound. After polish, then a wash with toothbrush and mild dish soap to remove the Fabuluster. Dry, seal and ready to wear! Thanks, Suria!

    Love this design but I wondered if you feel this would only work with round stones or could it be adapted to other shapes such as teardrop with the point facing down?

    • @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry
      @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry  6 місяців тому

      Thanks Deborah, I have two additional videos, Clayton is a version of Claudia using a larger, oval stone with more embellishments... I also did a Membership livestream where we made the hairstick using a heart stone which I also show can be subed with a teardrop stone... so yes! This weaved frame works on ovals, rounds, teardrops and upsidedown heartstones.

    Susan do you oxidize your copper pendant when you are finished? If so,do you have a video on how to do that?

    • @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry
      @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry  7 місяців тому +1

      Thank you! I do sometimes but sometimes I leave the wire natural, depends on the stone and my mood. 😀 I have a Beginners playlist. There is an introduction to oxidation and polishing.
      There are some wonderful, easy basic videos tutorials in that playlist too. Enjoy! Thanks for watching!! ❤️ ua-cam.com/play/PLRjvDtRZcW7ulE7KwpWEdT5umqxbtp5f0.html&si=US-2qW5PmdVIBK3K

    Love, love, love the heady design. But this quality piece really deserves a substantial bail and not two 'jumprings'. Either a two wire split bail (like the two wire design you started with) or a folded over diamond shape bail♦using the figure 8 weave you used on the back. The heavier bail would give the piece visual balance.

    • @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry
      @PerfectlyTwistedJewelry  2 місяці тому

      Fair enough! Thanks for your comment, this is a lovely option to a bale design, which you can find everywhere.
