We're back in PC Building Simulator 2's free build mode and it's time to take on the ultimate challenge of assembling the most expensive PC possible in the game. There's a lot to break down and explain for how we got to the parts we did, so strap in and enjoy my first attempt at the most expensive PC in PCBS 2. Let me know how you think I can make this build more expensive!
Full parts list:
Case: Raijintek ENYO - $500

This case lets you add a 3rd pump res in the back, but you must add it and cable it up first. If you exit the game, it'll say missing cable when you reload, but the res will still work. You have to do 3 separate loops.
Also water cooling the ram would have added a couple extra $$ , sadly some cases like the big chungus are actually fully broken and will not allow dual pump res \ double loop setups even though they both fit
I am
Not able to buy pumps cant find it in store, where do we buy them from
It actually supports four if you use smaller reservoirs
The blue screens are because it’s pulling over 1200w. NvLink 3090s and a 12900k not even overclocked is about 1300w in game. Occt takes almost 2 minutes to spike to max power in this game for some reason and the transient spikes are like irl, they can fluctuate idk if intentional or a game bug lol. You have about 82w of headroom, so it shouldn’t blue screen until 1283w are being pulled.
I may or may not use a cheat to make bench tests run immediately.
The 1000D also lacks the double 480 mm rads on top and the possibility for a second build in it
love your content keep it up
I think you could make this more expensive with the threadripper 3990x because some threadripper have 8 ram slots.
ddr4 tho
@@kziri3397 and?
@@kziri3397 its more powerful than the 12th gen even threadripper 5995wx would be a totall overkill than a normal overkill it scored nearly a 100k on benchmarks
Just a heads up, this is not going to be the most expensive possible for four simple reasons:
1) RAM: while DDR5 is a lot more expensive per stick, the TRX boards hold EIGHT sticks of ram ($6000 IF water cooled vs $4800).
2) WATER COOLING: it actually costs more to run a 240 AND a 120 mm radiator in series than it does to run a single 360mm ($580 in series vs $400).
3). While the 12900k mobo+CPU setup costs more (@$2885) than a 3990x setup (@$2380), the 3990x nets MORE cost overall due to above mentioned RAM and the fact you can fit FOUR water cooled RX6900XTs on the Gigabyte TRX40 Aorus XTREME ($6800 worth of GPUs) versus your two cards @$2090 a piece ($4180 total). Even with losing one of the M.2 slots, the total set up for motherboard components winds up being $18560 for the thread ripper versus $17954 for the 12900k.
4) you didn't water cool your RAM which would have been a free $200 of value.
I have built a Thread ripper based build worth $22,140 for all of the above mentioned reasons. 3D Mark of 29303.
Build sheet:
-Rainintek ERIS EVO
-Gigabyte TRX40 Aorus XTREME (rev1.0)
-Threadripper 3990x
-Rainintek CWB-TR4 RBW (H20 CPU block)
-Corsair AX1600i (couldn't use the most expensive since it's only 1200 watt and this system uses 1519 watts with OCCT)
-8x Trident 32GB 4266MHz + water cooling
-4x RX 6900 XT XG7s
-4x Mortoni 4TB (case doesn't allow for SSDs)
-4x CARDEA ZERO Z340 M.2
-3x EKWV EK-CoolStream 120 RGB
-3x Rainintek CALORE C240D
-Alphacool Eisbecher D5 250mm Acetal
-6x GamerStorm MF120
“This is not going to be the most expensive possible for four simple reasons”
Exceeds to write a whole essay 😂
Yeah ik
@@Hamidsimoh four simple reasons doesn't mean four simple sentences
@@michaelmhm959 was obviously joking m8… 🤓
@@Hamidsimoh Where in fact was the punchline? Or were you being sarcastic...? 🤓
This is a note to my self for when this channel blows up, this video is AWESOME!! 😁
I appreciate the video fun , tbh your way of building scares me 😂
7:30 the normal graphics card are in the section cuz they can be watercooled by yourself so thats why
Technically, speaking that case supports four I know because I’ve tried it and it made my thing bump up to 20,000+
Hello. Been watching for a while so the second I saw the new upload I just tapped. Good work on all the great content and keep up the good work.
To all the other people reading this comment. Have a good day or night and enjoy the video 😊
Also first
3:59 i noticed that you can actually put 2 ssd into the ssd compartment under the top one so the motherboard can have a total of 6 ssd
The game is bugged. Even when a motherboard shows 6 SATA ports, you can still only connect four for some stupid reason. I have yet to find mobo that's let's you run all six. EDIT: unless you are referring to M.2s?
Price to performance❎ Expansive as Possible✅
this dude sounds like chaos on youtube
Nice video, but next time use thread 3990 with 4 amd 6950
Bro, I think you forgot the thermal paste. That’s why the blue screens are showing up.
That MB can fit 6 M.2's. The middle slots holds 2.
Nice TT video
Hmmm now you can do crossfire with 4 GPUs, with SLI only 2 GPUs, so you could pump this bad boy for aprox. $2000 more, it depends on water cooling GPUs and EKWB watercooling CPU block cost $300. Dude you could reach probably over 22k for this PC.
There's actually 6 m.2 slots, 1 on top, 2 in middle, 3 on bottom/bottom right.
How did you open the store to pick parts? Im in free build and can't get back to the store and get more parts. There doesnt seem to be a tutorial.
o thats my case ;D
There's a motherboard that supports 4 way SLI GPUs I don't know which one is that exactly, you probably should've used that.
@kelapaska It can if you watercool them.
@@laszlozsurka8991 you're probably thinking the rt6950xt which is crossfire not SLI. The 3090 consumes three PCI cover slots on the case so you would only be able to fit two. Trust me, I've experimented.
Welp now you gotta redo this for the new gen CPUs and the RTX 4090
Can't seem to connect any CPU fan with this build right now. It allows placement of them, doesn't seem like there's a way to connect it up with power. Upon turning on the PC the fan doesn't work and either the CPU temp will be high, or the entire PC will crash.
what mode are you using
Xeons are one of the most expensive CPUS. Especially the APPLE PC dual Xeons
i made a $22,093 build with the corsair obsidian series 1000d
9:00 is the Ram clipping with the gpu? Looks like they dont actually fit together
thanks for building this so i didnt have to lol
if you watercooled the ram and delided the cpu it could have been a little bit more expensive
You can use quad watercooled 6900xt’s for more money and better performance
Prices have all been nurffed, 39000 dollar pc seems to be more around 19000 now.
I built one that costed 16k, with 4 rx 6900xt watercooled
Me over here not having a pc that can run this game to build a gaming pc😭
I'ma make one now!!!!
I'll add my price when I'm done
How do they not let you flip the fans around?
The 8-TB NVME M.2's aren't an option?
nice video :D im not a bot btw
Wow your so excited your like a kid at Christmas
Ive been playing this game lately. New update.
Bro they should add like cpu's with intergrated graphics in this game so you can build a bidget build for work sounds dumb but its cool
or, a laptop building simulator. lol, phone + laptop + desktop building simulator?
@@ADHDSadPerson adding onto laptops, they really should let you solder stuff too. A LOT of failed components can be fixed by simply allowing us to desolder some parts, remove said parts, and then replace them. No reputable company is gonna make you pay $2k for a whole new GPU without first attempting to solder on a new chip that costs 100-200 between parts and labor. Also the ability to just replace bearings when things are getting "noisy".
I have hopes these are implemented because they are labeled as FAULTY instead of broken and the inventory screen wants you to confirm before selling them (whereas broken just sells with one click).
is there core wp100 from thermaltake in simulator 2??
How do you restart the pc to solve the blue screen problem?
bro my pc is so low end it can even run pc building sim
How do you get 3dmark in PCBS 2. I cant seem to find it in the USB to install it. Is it something we unlock later on?
its only available in Free Build. Im at level 30 but i still dont have it
bruh the Team Group T-Force Delta RGB Series (black) 16 GB 6400 MHz was 1,120 now its like 112 dollars
What level do I unlock the parts in career mode?
How the hell do you screw things so fast
Is this game hard to learn? Or like complicated to build the pcs? I’m looking into it and don’t wanna spend 20 bucks on somethign I won’t play.
It's not difficult. The tutorial will give you enough of an idea of what to do. This game is quite similar to PCBS 1 and last I saw, it was on sale on steam due to this being released. Granted, it's nice to have updated part lists.
@@fenderbender2197 oh, cool!
My highest in PCB2 is $22,404
Idk how to install the second gpu because when I skipped to you installing the gpus for me it doesent say I can install the second one
same
You could watercool ram, that would add 1100 $ for 4 sticks.
then u cant fit the big ass cpu cooler, thats the problem, piping is also an issue that i cant solve
just go for a threadripper build at that point it would cost 30k$ or more
You Can have 4 6950 xt (not wter cooled
theres actual 6 m.2 slots on this motherboard ;)
there is 1 more m.2 slot in the middle
i got mine to 21273 using the corsair 1000D
How to bend these pipes?
Imagine building a pc in a simulator playing it on your pc, where the pc in the game is better than yours. i'll never want to play this 😆
That SLI bridge tho. It's a downgrade compared to PCBS1
Depends on the card and slot config. Sometimes it's a hard link branded either NVIDIA or third party manufacturer of the card.
anyone knows why i dont have the motherboard in the free build mode?
I get why people play the game... Just d sucks you actually can't get to truly see and experience what you've just built
Last update completely broke the game you can’t fill the Res if your using more than one smh
damn
My pc keeps blue screening and idk how to fix it it’s so annoying can someone please give me some tips to fix it
The motherboard is 700 dollar now right
you sound exactly like camodo wtf
I made a 22583 right after watching this I win
I kind of want this game but I’m not going to buy it because it’s on epic games
Mine won’t let me install more then 1 graphics card
$27,290 was my most expensive build.
no Overclocking 3DMark is 30708. 89 cents for every point... Probably not going to want to build this in real life...

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a PC Building Simulator. It's supposed to Simulate a realistic feeling and I can't understand how this game is supposed to be a Simulator if it doesn't met the standards of a copy of something from a real life thing, I can point out a number of things that are either impossible or not accurate. The prices aren't even the same, The building of PC'S aren't accurate because the amount of stuff you put in this pc there's no way a psu could even handle so much power, it's drawing alot and in the real world, thats just a fire waiting to happen, The whole point of a Simulator is to Simulate a real thing and to educate people in building PC'S, But this is not even close to being realistic, yes the graphics and the process of building it is real but the parts you use together do have a compatibility thing and prices aren't even close.

They haven't just broken fan support for this game they have broken pretty much everything! Terrible update! Play Number 1 instead. A lot more fun.
why you talk so much, the video has no fun to it because of your yapping
