I love how every Brit youtuber says the same thing about turkey. None of you are fans and if you like it, you don't go out of your way to eat it on a regular basis. Turkey done right as you can see is FABULOUS! You definitely need to get turkey here in the US.
@@franciet99 That's something I have never done. I need to see how big a difference it makes because so far I've been good to go without it. I do use an herbed butter though so I know that helps.
@@tinahairston6383 that sounds yummy! I brined one years ago when I was feeding a crowd. It’s a bit cumbersome when using a whole turkey. On a separate note, I would also recommend using Kenji Alt-Lopez’s recipe for spatchcock chicken. Kevin Bacon recommended it on a late night talk show and it makes the best crispy skin on the chicken. I didn’t spatchcock the chicken and cooked it on a smoker. It was crazy good!
@@franciet99 I'll look that up because spatchcock is also something I've been wanting to try. I just never buy a whole chicken often as it's just me and my mom and it's just easier to get a rotisserie one that's done at the store, lol. I usually just get a 7-9 lbs turkey breast. It ends up being enough to feed about 12 of us for the holiday dinners with a few leftovers because we also do ham so nobody fills up on just turkey.
Hi Nick. I live in Amarillo, Texas, and they are building a Buc-ees here in town and the place will be 74,000 square feet. Massive building. The opening date is scheduled for the 16 December, 2024. Can't wait! Thanks for the reactions. Love them all. 👍🏼👍🏼
I have never been to Buc-ees, Nick! They are building a Buc-ees in Ohio where I live and I cannot wait to go there and try those items for myself! Also Nick, you can buy alcohol like beer at most gas stations in the USA as well, there are some states where gas stations do not sell alcohol beverages but most others do. Ohio certainly has beer and wine though of course not the high end kind just the cheap kind but you can get it at gas stations also!
Yes, this varies from state to state. I moved from Ohio to Texas ages ago and I was surprised how different it was because of the Blue Laws which impacts many southern states because of the influence of the Baptist religion.
@@nickjreacts I’m looking forward to one in Arkansas. We’re surrounded by states that have one but we are finally hearing about one being built here. I wonder if the amount of land available in the UK or the higher petro prices might be too prohibitive. I think they would be rolling in the cash just for all the publicity they get on YT.
@@nickjreacts Blue Laws: I hadn’t heard of them either until moving south. It’s gotten better than when I was younger. On Sundays they would block off areas of the grocery stores where prohibited items were sold such as alcohol and appliances (I know, weird one). If you took these items to checkout, the cashier would reject them. Now you can buy alcohol after noon and appliances any time. You’ll see more details when googled. Also, there are “dry counties” which is another strange thing here.

I live in North Carolina. There isn't a Buc-ees in this state yet, but one is supposed to be built sometime next year. I've been to a Buc-ees before. It's crazy how big the place is and the variety of products there.
Im really sad that I don't have a Buc-ees by me.😭 I live in Michigan (the mitten state surrounded by the Great Lakes)....I have watched these Jolly videos and Im just craving all these yummy things! Great reaction as always my friend 😊

Part of that $317 was them buying hard goods and other stuff too.
Oh really
@@nickjreacts I bet they bought LOTS of merch to take home...hats,clothes,etc 🦫
You need to get a PO Box so we can send you stuff. Especially in time for Christmas.
Facts.
Trying to get that done now! I would love to get some stuff for a good Christmas video
Nick dude you should open a p.o. box so people can send you stuff.

keep in mind most gas stations here are NOTTTT like that. mostly crappy food that will make you regret your decision to eat there later

In Texas, they tore down the original one and built one that was the largest. But, of course, someone will try to build a bigger one.
Josh's wife had a baby, so they went home.
Presumably they had a good idea when he would need to be back when they planned this trip.
Yeah, I’m interested to see what videos they do next
There is one in Texas that has the biggest car wash. I don't think anyone has tried to beat that.
Colorado USA here.
Nick,
Perhaps make a list of places and things you want to try before you show up here, or you might strip your mental gears looking at everything.
Oh very true there is so much I want to do and try
Jolly's first Buc-EEs experience was lacking. They didn't sample the best food but as they mentioned in the video they went at the wrong time of day

For example: Id rather have ham than dry turkey on Thanksgiving. Dry turkey is just bland and hard to eat a lot of. Smoked turkey Id eat all day long…
No they did build a bigger one back in Texas
If you do visit the US do yourself a favor and stay away from Florida and theme parks altogether.
