Maybe in first game when we get into 8+ treasure tokens there were a point to get second bombardment into the field to dig for Duress faster? Maybe its overextending to much for Farewell? But I think that in general you was in such strong position and Farewell would still setback you for a lot if it hit the table, so getting x2 chances to snipe it with duress was worth it? You are an amazing player and one of the best content creators in general, so it is just a genuine guestion. And yeah, awesome video as always, Bombardment fun is the best fun since mutate shenanigans.
Was definitely a consideration. Main concern is still them topdecking something like Farewell, so Duress would only help if we can also cast it in their draw step.
Duress doesn't typically control the topdecks so that is what you worry about, his line was the safer one. Sure with Bombardment you can cast Duress during the draw step but it's tough to do that every turn.
Oh, ok. I understand the point about top-decking farewell, maybe just kinda underestimate how hard it would to "loop" duress with this build. And, again, was thinking that if Farewell DID drop, it would nuke our AB, our graveyard and treasures, so maybe second copy couldn't save us there... But, again, maybe this is half-true, in example cleared graveyard atleast allow us to more precisely control what goes into second AB, so there would be still change for rebuild after possible reset.
You can definitely play around with the trilands in the manabase. Getting full domain isn’t as critical here as having our colors for an early Brotherhood’s End for instance, but if you’re playing with Leyline Binding it’s a different story.
I’m so glad that invoke finally got banned. Bombardment is my favorite card in standard and it was impossible to play when it got nuked by invoke despair so often
if you want to play some variety, try the grixis version. the command let you recover some health point, and bouncing permanents has more viability than destroying creature. (but we need to rely more on red's ramping)
"We don't have to hide our enchanments anymore," is such a lovely, if odd, phrase
The dry wit is an integral part to LVD's charm :)
😂 well put
Hide yo kids, hide yo enchantments
It’s pride month, be proud of your enchantments!
@@alexbiggs1046 y are u gae
Tamiyo's Safekeeping is perfect for this type of deck. Repeated lifegain and protection for your enchantment.
also a 1 mana instant
I was gonna say the same.
@@AzazelReborn81 my life gain card of choice is usually sunset revelry. For card draw :3
Just faced this deck in Arena a few minutes ago and was like "Ok. Which youtuber made this?".
Great content from LVD as usual. Thank you. Sweet deck for sure.
Luca made a Jund deck!? Easiest like of my entire life. Let's goooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I always tried to make Arcane Bombardment work, very fun card. Was better with Lessons, but never had a place in a meta.
Yeah Cram Session was perfect in this deck
Invoke Despair being so popular made this card so bad.
It's just not the same without having cleansing wildfire for bombardment. Great deck as always!
Luckily there’s fewer creature lands that need cleansing!
"A lot of value" (Legend's signature phrase) is an understatement here :)
If nothing else, the bans made big enchantment decks actually not suck so much, so I'll take that small W
14:45 You could prevent a topdecked Farewell if you cast an instant to trigger Bombardment after their draw step to get Duress.
LVD and Bombardment.. clicked this video sooo fast.
You had me at „lets do some math“
I see LVD and I click
This is pretty cool, though Mardu is my favorite set of colors for bombardment.

I learned through crokeyz that 4/4 raffines tower would feel very nice here. It completes domain while still being a tapped black mana source

@@LegenVD great point, makes total sense. Ty for the reply. Love this list!
Forgot this one is still in standard, time for another spin with it then!
One of the funniest cards in all Arena.
the LEGEND himself
LVD THE MAN!❤
very nice
Lvd! Best Pilot of decks Ever, step 1 give LVD deck, second step give him tech deck, 3rd win the deck!

Actually after the bans, enchantments hate are a must in decks because selesnya enchantment is T1
Nasty.
wish i had the cards for this haha

with all the AZ control around these days I ve had a rough time with this deck tbh
How do you stop those pesky ossifications?
By not having many targets for them (they don’t exile enchantments). Leyline Binding is the real problem card.
😊
Match 2 is a lot of players sadly. At 24 with a lot of ways to kill the opponent but concede to something they don’t want to sit through
Jund + Legen? Insta like video.
And how is arcane bombardment not banned....
busted card
