Funny story, Michael is actually on my friend's list on ps4. The year before he made his debut I met him online and played him. He had the same setup, his own player and had mississippi jerseys lol He was beast and I think I barely won late. He added me and the rest is history.
I was at a Braves game when he was in AA Pearl and when he came up to bat I yelled “let’s go big mike!!” He then proceeded to hit a bases clearing triple and he pointed at me after he hit it. ;)

To refine your idea, if you beat a Real 99, you should get a Real 99 item that can't be sold, but with the limitation that you can only use one batter and one pitcher that's real 99 per team. Maybe 2 of each, but that'd be insane. Also, they should mark that you beat them and are not those players, so maybe they can call it a "Beat 99" item?
