Thank you for this! I shopped the Dior quints based on your video a year ago and I now want to try the mitzah quint. My go to Dior products are the lip glow, the nail glow for every day natural nails, and the cuticle cream (messy but works!). My first Dior product was an eye shadow single that looks a lot like one from the Soft Cashmere quint. I wore it every time I went out and it’s one of my favorite makeup product memories, because it was the first time I felt glamorous. Love Dior 💜
Love these sorts of videos!!! 🥰 Dior is very tragically reformulating their complexion lines to be "clean" (aka the kiss of death since performance will be so negatively affected and the shelf life will be terrible due to the lack of quality preservatives 😭)
"I am - you know - a person" ahah, you always make me laugh! Thanks for this video, I am a mess today and really needed something to unwind. Nothing better than a Dior video by you to do so. For as much as I love Dior, I have never tried the backstage line. It doesn't appeal to me at all, with the exception of the Rosy glow blush, which I have wanted for years but, somehow, I always pass on it when purchasing something. The eye look is stunning, I never thought of Grand Bal as something worth picking up, but I stand corrected. To me, nothing beats the Dior bronzer. I love the Maison and mostly everything by them, they are my favourite brand and all, but that bronzer is so great that it is on a different level, to me, just like the collection privèe perfumes. I am also crazy about Vanilla Diorama, among others. The forever liquid lipstick is, in my opinion, too overlooked. It is the best liquid lipstick I own, and it doesn't feel like anything on the lips, while looking absolutely amazing. I only pickedone of the maximizers up because of you (I don't wear gloss normally) and I am absolutely loving it! Love the hair!
My first Backstage purchase was the Custom Eye Palette and from there, I've bought every single one, including limited editions. The colour stories aren't over the top and they're very wearable. Don't expect the shimmers to be high impact, as this is not what they are about. I also picked up four from the five Face Palettes. Unfortunately, I missed out on the Bronze one which I dearly wanted. The other four will still show up every now and then but the Bronze Palette has never returned. Apart from these, there hasn't been any other Backstage products that have interested me except for the Powder-No-Powder and the Blushes when they return at the right time. If interested in trying anything from this range, wait for a Sephora Sale to test out something you're interested in. Good luck.💖

I am in Italy, and we are lucky enough to get sales on Dior pretty often from retailers, let's hope that continues! 😊 I remember the bronzer palette and that one was something that I really wanted, but I also missed out. Which is fine now,. since I honestly cannot put the forever bronze down. Even though I own other bronzer, I never use them because that one is that great, in my opinion. However, that one was truly gorgeous.
@@loytoco You're lucky, none of our Australian retailers ever reduce Dior unless it's a Sephora Sale. They will match the price but only if you ask but don't expect free shipping. My nearest stockists are a four hour drive away! So, I have to rely on online shopping. I still manage to get some great bargains but definitely not where Dior is concerned. On top of our GST (goods & services tax), we also get hit with a luxury tax on anything deemed to be a luxury item. To think that last year, I bought every single Limited Edition Quint and Backstage Eye Palette except for the Holiday Collection due to not needing those Quints nor the Écrin Eye Palette. It really hurt when they released Bayadère and Riviera, whilst dropping the five Velvet Quints at the same time! I've seen a look at the upcoming Quints and I'm not impressed by them. Just as well, as I've spent enough money on many other things! Although, I really want those Addict Lip Cases! Let's hope they take their time coming here. Good for you getting reductions on Dior, I hope it keeps up too.💖

I also rely on online shopping, which makes things harder when having to choose colours, especially for Dior, since their photos are mostly weird :D. Thank goodess for youtubers like Jenn. My budget is limited, so I have to save and "strategize", but I do love their quints and get one when I can. Riviera is my favourite one. I also am not very interested in the upcoming releases, thankfully! :D

After all I've bought from them, I deserve more than those measly little samples at checkout! I was relieved when I saw the upcoming Quints and just thought that I can then put the money towards something else, like my Gas and Electricity bills that have arrived together!💖

Edit: Please include Chantecaille in the best/worst of series. I am still not sold on their brand as a whole, however, I always (without fail) get compliments when I wear a face of Chantecaille. I don't own much, but am curious about which products you recommend.
Great, even more Addict Cases to come! I still haven't filled the last ones I bought at Christmas and the Miss Dior Collection. I can't resist them though. I do like the Addict Lipsticks as they are nice and moisturising for one who has the driest of lips. I do have that Emerald Felt Liner which works very well, especially over shadow. I'm a great admirer of the Backstage Eye Palettes and own four of the Face Palettes. I agree that they feel softer than the regular line but love the shades in the Eye Palettes so much that I've bought every one. Since re-arranging my make-up collection, I can gain greater access to my Face Palettes now which I love using. Due to being quite pale and not wearing foundation, there are a number of shades that can pass for a subtle blush and I do love highlighters in a great range of colours. I also bought one of those Balm Sticks last year but mine came in Opal. As I had purchased the Chanel Balm Essential in Or at the same time, I didn't go for the pink too, but it quickly sold out and I missed out. Although, I'm glad I bought the Opal in which I feel I can use in many more ways, just like the Glow Balm for lips that was also released in Opal and looks great over other lipsticks or alone. I'm still waiting for the Maximiser in Opal to come back into stock but it's taking its sweet time. I'm so glad that I went for the Golden Bouquet Quint instead of Grand Bal as I feel the latter was too glittery and preferred the softer look instead. If I want a glittery look, I only have to add another shadow. Jen, I'm surprised that you got through all of the Dior in such a short time - congratulations!🇦🇺💖🕊
I have the same going on. I can buy pretty much anything Chanel and I know it will work. I think Chanel takes less chance and risk with their products, meaning their products are timelessly elegant and universally safe. Dior tries to follow, and set, trends a little more. As I age, the less these younger focused trends work for me.
I really like Dior nail as the brush is wide so it only takes two or three swipes and you get great coverage that lasts really well ❤
