Well After 30 Years & Retired As A Member Of ILWU Local 63 Marine Clerks There Wasn't Anywhere I Couldn't Work ~ I Was A Tough Supervisor But Fair & Well Liked ~ I Don't Think You Can Say The Same Mr O'Neal ~ BTW My DAD & Brother Were Members Too!! ~ MY Daughter Is A Class A Longshoreman & Does Quite Well Her Next Stop Will Be Crane Training & A Member Of ILWU Local 13 LA & LB Harbors ~ You May Not Like Us But That's Too Bad For You My Union Brother!!!

That number was for Prince Rupert only. Sadly, our president greatly misjudged how many women actually worked there at the time. He said 25 to 35 and the number was closer to 105. Unfortunately he wasn't prepared for this video and made a mistake. Right now, the ratio is approximately 1 woman to 5 men, with a workforce of over 1000.
