The only person running for office that I know of who is advocating for farmers is R.F.K. jr. He has the the back of real farmers against big corporations putting small farmers out of business and polluting the land.
“It’s hard to make soil sexy” … well I dunno, I think anything becomes sexy if he’s involved! Ok, Ahem, seriously now, yes he’s good looking, but he’s also someone who has from the very beginning used his fame to make the world better in so many ways I’ve lost count, animals, the climate, our planet, he cares & has pushed aside time he could of used, like most stars, to become more famous, work more, make more $$, but he hasn’t chosen that route & I think an awful lot of credit has to go to him for what he’s done, & continues to do. My hats off to him, just wish he wasn’t wearing his so we could see those beautiful eyes more!
If you want to know what is good ask a farmer. If you going to talk about this. Have a group of farmers on to talk. About this. From small time farmers to commercial farmers. If you live in the city and you ask people in this city. Stay in the line your in. ASK THE FARMERS
This is very fascinating. If this info is true, I am all in. Chemicals introduced into our foods causes all kinds of medical problems that in turn increase our costs. If this works it should reverse this and that is good for everyone…except the people taking in money to keep things status-quo. Better soils IS better food and higher yields.
Are there any scientific studies done by academia and peer reviewed? How tight are the bonds that lock in the Carbon? What releases it and does it go back into the air if not in the ground already?
I've been critical of his weird activism before, but he's saying a lot of good sensible stuff here (in his sort of scripty actor way). He's a spokesman for something that's actually good for our country.
Sorry, have yet to listen to a lecture by an activist actor that had any value. A walking uneducated ego rarely brings any great insights to the table.
@nateauld I would add that he looks and smells really good. Wonder if he made it to high school? Lots of actors don't. Jennifer Lawrence, the first female action hero, springs to mind.
