The title wildly caught my attention... Not a blender fanboy but I've used blender my whole life, and I can tell that it's the biggest thing in the 3d industry lately... Amazing video, keep up...👍🏾
@@proceduralcoffee Am actually talking about the clout and attention blender is getting even from seasoned professionals in the industry as a free open source software... The softwares you talking about were always industry standard and required to get a job as a 3d artist, but blender which was never considered industry standard is now popping it's head in many professional studios, that's the news...
Considering the title... is that a good thing? I'm not an "artist" or "animator". I'm not in "the industry". I'm just an amateur dabbling in 3D creation. A total amateur, who does it just for fun and doesn't make a cent of his work. Maya and Cinema 4D never were any option for me... simply because of the price tag. And for all the genuine enthusiasm within the Blender community and development team... I'm almost certain... as soon as Blender gets to the level where it is a "serious contender" with the full-price products... it will turn into a full-price product. At which point it will become unaccessable for people like me. Just my two cents - or even less than that. Still, this is what I care about.
Blender will never overtake Maya Because of the new leadership in Blender Institution, Tom retires from his post. the new Gen at the Blender Institution will commercialize Blender leading to its downfall. look at the past releases' broken functions over new features tryout. Blender had gone woke !!!

Good to hear the pros and cons. I'm excited for the sculpting tools.

The only thing about Blender that's earth shattering is that it's FREE ! Maya and 3ds Max will always be the top-notch industry standard.
Enough with these click bait titles. You make the Blender community look bad.

Blender will never be a paid software, its license doesn't allow it
AI is future Tool! 3D is old tool at all.
The title is a joke... right? lol!!!
