As someone who has struggled with morbid obesity in the past, I believe it is important to promote healthy lifestyles and discourage behaviors that can lead to heart disease and other complications. Celebrating unhealthy choices is not something that should be encouraged. Health is wealth.

the problem is that it does impact you if you are a healthy, active person of a normal weight. it impacts our insurance costs, medical costs, etc.. the sickest 50% of individuals in the US account for 50% of all health care spending. so you really are inadvertently paying for other's unhealthy lifestyles

Comparing suicide to being fat is kinda crazyy. Ngl. I personally think it’s okay to be fat, but being OBESE is not okay. Because some ppl just naturally have a slower metabolism or are naturally just bigger ppl, it happens. Telling a fat person to just go to the gym is the equivalent of telling skinny ppl to just eat. That’s not how it works💀. Ppl can work out and lose very little weight just like how skinny ppl can eat 24/7, lay on their asses and not gain anything. Sure it is possible but it takes a lottt of time and effort and everyone doesnt always have the time to be in the gym 24/7. Fat is ≠ to unhealthy, just saying. But obesity 100% is. There’s a difference.
