air control is fantastic on the kagama, shame about the pin, sledge is a monster, the noise it made coming up the hill dune sounded like a jet plane 👌👍 broke two cars,did well 😃👍👍
I thought the arrma 6s line was better than the sledge? My next big RC is going to be between the mx-07, kagama, vigilante, kraton exb. Something like that. I've had e revos which are interesting but fragile imo, and a TLR losi 8ight which has been great but i was hoping for something a little bigger now.
@@TMIVRC is that up or down in pinion tooth count from stock? And why change the tires? I thought kraton tires were decent? That's one of the main strong points for the vigilante and mx-07 , true beadlocks with really durable tires.
The Best RC car is the one that you personally love the most! My problem with the sledge is that i broke mine all the time under moderate bashing - it took alot of 💰💰 to make it reliable! Mine is a tank now but the list of upgrades/replacements is rediculous!
@@HEAT_RC yea, that's how I ended up feeling about my e revos and slash 4x4. By the time they were reliable there wasn't many traxxas branded parts left. So I switched to x ray and losi and I've had to replace very few parts. They handle way better and are much nicer to work on. I was lucky and bought my traxxas vehicles when they were half the price they are now. Can you believe they want over 800$ for a rustler ultimate!? And it doesn't even come with all the upgrades available. So yea for 800$ it seems I can get a vigilante or mx-07. And those two rigs don't seem to need upgrades right out of the box.
@@surfgreenRC hey i felt like my centre diff was loose/possibly leaking - I opened it up and it was not dry but fairly low, ive just topped it up last night - ive gone 150k and im gonna test it today, front and rear diffs I havnt touched yet

You can still make the Kraton a maniac but you would have to change the punch/tires probably go to 15 tooth is a sweet spot

Any issues with sand in the drivetrain, eg in the pinion/gearbox? How well "sealed" is the Kagama?
All good so far but ive not had it apart yet, im going to strip it down this week and take a look so if i have any issues I will update you!
