I mean he does have a point too because the moment she would hear sale she would be on with it😂😂 and did anyone notice that his mom had both sets in the cart😂😂😂.
My dad will also, my mom is a little different though. If it’s for school then she will let me chose what I want and good quality however that is the only time she doesn’t care if it is cheap.
It’s the exact opposite for me lol. I’m a artist, and so my mom likes to get me nice pencils/colored pencils, and highlighters, when my dad on the other hand thinks the cheap kind is just as good. Which I totally agree with, it’s just, pulling fancy highlighters out on the first day of school raises your confidence up but like 50% 😌
My mom: Oh look! What a cute binder it’s your favorite color, sage green! And I saw these on Pinterest! They’re so cute you should get them. Me: Ok! Shopping with dad: Ok so I’m gonna be looking at the socks right here so you go get EVERYTHING you need and if your missing some few things were shopping a little online :) Ik my parents are the best ❤️❤️❤️
I just love how she said “DAAAAAANG IT!” 😂😂 Edit: I'm not editing to thank for likes, I don't even remember making this comment and it's been one year already lol time flies
Literally my mom💀 but now that im working and going to college, i now know why being cheap with supplies is the way to go when you are struggling financially
that part tho 😂, me and my mom be going out and buying stuff it’s either we hide it and say we been had it or we come up with something and stick to it to tell my dad 😭
That is so me and husband! I’m all about a good deal, he always points out the cheaper stuff isn’t the best quality so if you spend more now you don’t have buy it again later. Which is true sometimes, but not always.
Nah because the dads are always like “well you need them don’t you?” like yeah but there is cheaper ones that do BaSiCaLlY the same thing. dads js be like that and i love it 😂
Hahahaha!! This so reminds me of my dad! We’ve always been super close, so when I first moved out, he’s drive the 60 miles one way to visit me almost every weekend, and he’d take me grocery shopping. Before that, I had never seen him grocery shop before. My mom always did it growing up. So we went to the store, and it took him all of 15 minutes to get everything I could possibly need at a ridiculously good price. As we walked out of the store I told him, “You are really good at grocery shopping! How did I not know that?” He looks at me, smirks, and says, “Just don’t tell your mother.” We about died laughing! He’s the best!
I come from a family with 4 kids and our parents didn’t make a ton of money. Back to school shopping was definitely penny pinching everywhere. My mom would buy 2 12 packs of pencils and split them between all of us, only buy stuff on sale and/or store brand and mechanical pencils were out of the question 😂 I found my best school supplies on the floor at school for real
We live in England and so they usually provide us with school things in primary. I'm so excited to finally go secondary school shopping for the first time ever!!!
Then there’s my mom she goes to dollerama and spends over $60 every time :) then my dad doesn’t get me sh*t I ask him for something or say I need something he says “oh cool you should see if your mom can get u that :)” *my parents are divorced*
When I was younger I tended to go for the cute more expensive stuff but as I got into 7-8th grade I wanted to spend less because I started to understand how money works and how we much we need for other things. It sounds kind of bad but I really started to care less about school supplies when I started to hate school. The only reason I liked school occasionally is because I love clothes. The less I spent on school supplies the more I had for back to school clothes which is something I loved. My mom always let me get mostly everything I wanted for school supplies but I just stopped caring about the looks for the supplies rather than the practicality.
My dad truely does care less about the expenses and more about if I really need them. My mom always gives opinions if the stuff I get is worth it or not. My dad just goes with whatever I like

This is so correct. That's the reason I love shopping with my dad. He lets me grab anything I want.
Same, but I also agree if mom can’t give me what I want.
SAME OMG
My situation is the opposite, but also, I never really go shopping with my dad so who knows lol
My dad will also, my mom is a little different though. If it’s for school then she will let me chose what I want and good quality however that is the only time she doesn’t care if it is cheap.
