So they had 90 minutes (ish) worth of footage and decided that that is the joke that they want to highlight during the trailer. I actually got mad. "I promise not to laugh. I promise not to laugh much". People filmed and edited the entire thing and someone decided "THAT is the essence of our creation. That is what the world needs to see".
There are a couple that look good like The Beekeeper Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes and i`m kinda buzzed that Alieniod 2 is coming out(the first was a messy fun riot) but most of these look like generic cack....
Agreed. Love Jason Statham. Arthur King was a welcome change to all this ACP-riddled, slashing demonic violence. If life does truely mimic art 2024 is going to groom a fucked up generation. Quality feature films only on my drives.
That was my first thought when I saw that first scene of them all lined up down the hallway. Bargain bin The Raid, just not quite as good. Nothing beats The Raid 2. That took it to another level.

I say that because when I think of all the books I've read and all the historical events I've studied that would make excellent, cerebral, life-affirming motion-pictures and then glance at all of the upcoming movies we have to choose from I want to puke: Violence, sexual excess, absurd situations, air-headed ideas, empty, mind-blowingly expensive productions with no intellectual, moral or spiritual value...just pure garbage.
