Usyk is without doubt top 3 of all time behind Lewis and Ali. Back then, being the undisputed heavyweight champ only required winning 2 or 3 belts. Today you have to win 4. I’m not with the disrespect to the all-time greats-not even from Holyfield who is my favorite heavyweight fighter. To say that Usyk is a Top 3 heavyweight of all time is to say that fighting: Joshua, Dubois, and Fury is greater than anything done by these fighters: Ali Sam Langford Joe Louis Frazier Foreman Dempsey Marciano Holmes Tyson And that would be foolish to say! That’s like saying that because Crawford beat Spence for undisputed at 147 makes him greater than: Mayweather De La Hoya Whittaker Leonard Ray Robinson Usyk is great for HIS time, but he did not fight in an era of ALL TIME Great heavyweights. No different than Larry Holmes, not different than even Roy Jones throughout his career.
When you factor in everything, he probably is top 5 no higher than 3rd although i do think except Fury first fight, none of his wins were particularly that great Chisora, Aj, Dubois, Fury 2 none of them would live with the past greats or in their era but you can only fight whats in front of you respect to Usyk for being humble.
Everyone was saying Fury was a big fighter that has good footwork/moves fast for his size. Calling him one of the greatest like at least top 15. He would've been a challenge for any past fighter. Now that Usyk beat him, now all of a sudden "Fury wouldn't have lived with the past greats or in their era." How delusional can people get?
@GrubKiller436 Yeah it's true people were also praising AJ before Usyk and as soon as both were beat, they were dismissed. I think beating Fury was a very impressive victory but not so much the 2nd fight he had far to much weight but still a good win of course.
Oh stop it! He hasn't had ten fights in the division. Calling him a Top 50 HW all time would be a HUGE compliment and a stretch. Spent a decade in the division taking on all challenges and different styles and sizes, then talk all time.

Usyk is a first ballot hall of famer, all-time great boxer. No question. Tough to make a case for him being on the all-time heavyweight top ten though. He's definitely the best heavyweight of this past generation. The problem is that the heavyweights of this generation are pretty sub-par historically. That's not Usyk's fault, but you need to factor it in.
@@MarkLane-r5n I think we are underestimating the actual power of today's heavyweights. They are bigger and punch harder (only talking about on average, of course) but it's harder to see because the other guy across the ring is also big. But also they have good fundamentals. Back then, bigger guys looked more like sluggers in the 80s. Then as time moved on they looked more refined with each passing generation. Someone as good as Riddick Bowe took a bunch of unnecessary shots from Holyfield and Golota, and even from Lewis in the Olympics. If he was more technically sound, he would've taken less damage. And a guy like Lennox Lewis is also a big guy and a complete boxer. But even his speed and response time wouldn't stand a chance against Usyk's speed and response time. Lennox Lewis got knocked out twice by Class B fighters. Usyk has everything you want in a fighter. Skill, stamina, speed, chin.

Totally disagree. Usyk is great but I wouldn’t put him in the same class as some of the all time great Heavyweights in history including Evander. And Usyk only fought a few Heavyweights.
@somerandomguy2447 let's see...Ali, Louis, Holmes, Foreman, Liston, Frazier, Lewis, Holyfield, Patterson, Bowe. And great chance that Marciano and Tyson beat him. Usyk squeezed by Fury on 2 occasions. But I'm not sure that he would have turned the trick against the Fury of 2 or 3 years ago.
@ Liston and Patterson aren’t even comparable Usyk laps both there resumes combined and he’d sleep both of them, bowe ducked Lennox, got dog walked by golata, faced the same style of opponent his entire career and the second he faced someone who wasn’t a blown up cruiserweight he got dominated twice, Marciano and Louis never faced competition as good the guys Usyk fought, Tyson beat up a bunch of old washed fighters and lost to Douglas and Holyfield and he’s not above Usyk, Usyk didn’t “squeeze” past fury he clearly won both fights and won 7 rounds against fury in the first and cruised to a easy clear 8-4 decision in the rematch at the age of 37 also he beats pretty much all the legends you listed besides maybe 3
@@somerandomguy2447 Liston isn't comparable? The man was a beast. A murderous puncher who could also box behind a sledgehammer jab. Mike Tyson? I love Mike but not top 3. Lost all his big fights. Maybe the most feared boxer. Holyfield and Lewis showed him if your not scared you don't go anywhere with that BS
We’re not gonna start disrespecting Tyson still the youngest HW champ ever.
Inter generational comparisons will always near impossible to get consensus. Usyk best of his generation though is bloody hard to argue against.
This was all respect
That's really high
Yeah it is! I wonder who the top three are?
@@fighthub Ali Homes & Lewis. However with his exceptional footwork, he can hold his own.
Problem is different eras. Whos can challlenge Usyk in this era? Same as Mayweather, you wonder how he would of did against Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, and the list goes on. Mike Tyson who is a fan favorite is not top 10 IMO. He lost all his big fights. Doesn't matter if he was jailed, high, or any drugs. He wasn't displined. You show your noy scared of Mike, he folds.
Manny, Canelo and Oscar for mayweather all of them better than Duran and hearns and manny is better than Lenard and hagler, Anthony Joshua and Tyson fury are great wins fury beat a top 10-5 great in wladimir and made it look easy, Usyk at cruiserweight faced hunter and huck and bredis and Gassiev and Bellew all of them are better than qawi he’s faced those challenges and he’s faced those greats I know it’s cruiserweight but Usyk is literally bigger than Holyfield and George Foreman you have to count his cruiserweight fights
He shall know it. Real deal.
Holyfield is the only great that is humble enough to admit this. Everyone else likes to stroke the egos of past heavyweights.
❤ Holyfield. But if a question is about usyk ; why you answer regarding yourself . Usyk is top 3 of all time heavyweight. Yes 👍

Joe Louis above Muhammad Ali is a joke.
I already know this list is invalid from seeing the first two names.
Joe Louis' best win is against Jersey Joe Walcott, right? And it's a great win/name. But Muhammad Ali has multiple. Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman. Ali achieved more.
This list is a joke.
Sweet dude.
Usyk is the greatest of all time. IQ of the roof!
HOLYFEILD STILL SOUNDS GOOD!
He's right. Lucky guess.
Western culture is obsessed with whose the best, rankings and whose the goat, etc. It can only be judged by generation. Do not Joe Louis, Dempsey, Jack Johnson etc, not count?
Joe Louis counts.
But the level of competition for Dempsey and Jack Johnson is too ambiguous. Them two aren't even in top 10.
@@GrubKiller436no
What Legends or hofer did Usyk beat? Fury? Who got dropped by Ngannou? Top 3 of ALL Time?? Cmon man. In this era, he's great.
That drop was relatively benign.
He got dropped worse in all his fights with Wilder.
HELL YEAH LMAO
Usyk is without doubt top 3 of all time behind Lewis and Ali. Back then, being the undisputed heavyweight champ only required winning 2 or 3 belts. Today you have to win 4. Usyk won all 4 belts in the span of a few fights and did so by beating an undefeated, high IQ Tyson Fury who was 50lbs bigger than him TWICE. Not to mention he came up from being the undisputed cruiserweight champion and never lost a professional fight.
Above Lennox Lewis for sure.
Come on Evander. Stop it!
anyone else look at his ear ?
100%, I agree. Usyk is definitely in the top 3 of this generation. Fury #1, Wilder #2 and Usyk #3.
You trolling 😂
Top 3 all time; Joe Luis, Cassius Clay, Rocky Marciano.

In eras where o one is forced to fight the best. Top 3 ? Top 10 based on achievement. Not often a cruiserweight unifys both cruiser and heavyweight so P4P , yep top 10.
If Tyson Fury beat Usyk, yall would be glazing Fury left and right. "OMG HE'S TOP 2 GREATEST EVER."
But since Usyk won, Usyk is not even top 3.
That makes sense, guys.
Holyfield showing signs of mental damage due to his boxing career and may need to sit this one out.

He had his ear bite off lol

Holyfield is brain damaged after his last ko loss against an amateur. Damn. Poor guy.
Evander ain’t making no sense did he take too many hits to be head ? He was before my time
I’m not with the disrespect to the all-time greats-not even from Holyfield who is my favorite heavyweight fighter.
To say that Usyk is a Top 3 heavyweight of all time is to say that fighting: Joshua, Dubois, and Fury is greater than anything done by these fighters:
Ali
Sam Langford
Joe Louis
Frazier
Foreman
Dempsey
Marciano
Holmes
Tyson
And that would be foolish to say! That’s like saying that because Crawford beat Spence for undisputed at 147 makes him greater than:
Mayweather
De La Hoya
Whittaker
Leonard
Ray Robinson
Usyk is great for HIS time, but he did not fight in an era of ALL TIME Great heavyweights. No different than Larry Holmes, not different than even Roy Jones throughout his career.
Not many people can say they have been undefeated for over a decade, bud.
Now that Usyk beat him, now all of a sudden "Fury wouldn't have lived with the past greats or in their era."
How delusional can people get?
@GrubKiller436 Yeah it's true people were also praising AJ before Usyk and as soon as both were beat, they were dismissed. I think beating Fury was a very impressive victory but not so much the 2nd fight he had far to much weight but still a good win of course.
Oh stop it! He hasn't had ten fights in the division. Calling him a Top 50 HW all time would be a HUGE compliment and a stretch. Spent a decade in the division taking on all challenges and different styles and sizes, then talk all time.
Cry louder. We like that sound. Anyone who knows boxing well and isn't a casual will come to the conclusion that you must take usyk into the top 5 of all time. I think evander knows better than anyone himself as he himself was a Cruiser who entered HW. He could've downplayed usyks achievements since usyk has gone the same route as evander, but he didn't.
I think it's a matter of, there isn't a heavyweight in history that could beat the usyk who beat fury and joshua twice😂
@@yangazilwa1183Prime Lewis (who beat Holyfield twice), Prime Foreman (the one that destroyed Joe Frazier) and Prime Ali (the one that danced around Liston) and maybe even Tyson (with cus as trainer) all can beat Usyk.
@@intellicogroup405prime tyson batters usyk speed power movement ,love usyk but that era was tough this is why its hard to compare fighters todays heavyweights are shit apart from usyk ,fury,aj,wilder overated boxers
The fact that you guys have to say "prime" literally says it all.
Usyk belongs in top 5 AT LEAST because he has longevity. 38 years old and still undefeated.
Well said, he’s the best now but come on….the guys of the past were different
That is entirely speculation and you don't know who would win in a fight.
@@GrubKiller436 you not remember watching the guys in the 90,s ?
Are you drunk 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Best of this average era! That’s it
Top 20, maybe ... Never top 10

3. holyfield
4. jack johnson
5. mike tyson
6. floyd patterson

12. ezzard charles
12. sonny liston
13. jersey joe walcott
14. wladimir klitschko
15. jack dempsey
this is not a slight on usyk, im a fan. but the context of your achievements matter a lot, and this is a very weak era + he didn't go around collecting belts. he beat aj and fury and that's essentially it (which is still an achievement) when the guys above fought everyone in their era at least once.
please, stop the nonsense. Only Ali, Louis, Marciano, Lennox, Foreman, Johnson and Holmes can be compared to Usyk...
0. Usyk. What about that.
No, Jack Johnson isn’t top 20 he has a weak resume and fought in a horrible shity era Usyk would sleep him in a round, Liston and Patterson never beat someone as good as fury aj or Dubois I don’t care Ali gassed them up there not in the convo, most of those never even fought someone as good as aj yet alone fury he’s top easily and this is the third best era in heavyweight history
LMAO dude put Jack Johnson, Mike Tyson, and Floyd Patterson in top 6 🤣

You're the same guy who would put Mike Tyson as top 10 though.
@ Tyson is emphatically a top 10 heavyweight. You are silly for even making such a nonsensical statement.

Lol. Thanks for telling me that you know nothing about heavyweight boxing. Name Mike Tyson's biggest win? And how long he was champ?
He is not above these 10:
Muhammad Ali
Joe Louis
Rocky Marciano
Oleksandr Usyk
Lennox Lewis
Larry Holmes
George Foreman
Evander Holyfield
Riddick Bowe
Joe Frazier
Literally 3 guys in his own era achieved more than him: Holyfield, Bowe, and Lewis. Joe Frazier's best win is against Muhammad Ali. Mike Tyson's best win is... who?
Hell, Tyson might even be below Ezzard Charles given the fact that Ezzard Charles actually beat 2/3 the best of his time, that being against Joe Louis and Jersey Joe Walcott (but not Marciano). Mike Tyson doesn't have a single win against Holyfield, Bowe, or Lewis.
Mike Tyson is arguably at #12. Just because you like someone or not means nothing.
Thanks for exposing your ignorance. It makes sense why your opinion doesn't even matter when it comes to Usyk.
Totally disagree. Usyk is great but I wouldn’t put him in the same class as some of the all time great Heavyweights in history including Evander. And Usyk only fought a few Heavyweights.
Ye usyk top 3 of all time as a boxer when mentioning all accomplishments
Evander was defeated many times. Usyk is undefeated and he's 37-38 years old.
Usyk is a great fighter. But as a heavyweight, he doesn't have a big enough body of work to be ranked as an ATG in that division.
Name 10 better than him
@somerandomguy2447 let's see...Ali, Louis, Holmes, Foreman, Liston, Frazier, Lewis, Holyfield, Patterson, Bowe.
Foreman said that Liston was the only man who could back him up in the ring. He was that strong. Liston would turn Usyk into roadkill. Walk right thru him. Usyk has had 4 fights against 2 of today's top heavies. Joshua and Fury. And yes, each and every fight was close. Usyk never dominated those bouts. A truly great heavyweight would have.
@ name 5 people Liston beat😐
Next time he said number one, no number two because Holyfield number one... Come one... Usyk maybe top 20 heavyweights of all time
Usyk is great in his generation but he wouldn’t stand any chance against top 20 heavyweight boxers in the 70s,80s, or 90s.
