Your buddy's mud flaps comes with a front extension and you can get the rear a arm flap to stop some of the debris from hitting the rear. I am also hurting the rear inside rim with small rocks eating the rim. great video again. I look forward to yours and SXSblog.com Fun stuff for us X3 XRS owners. dave G.
+Dave Gerken Dave thanks for the comment. my buddies working on version 2 of the trailing arm guards I think they're going to be pretty cool. I hope it'll help the rocks from scratching the wheels. I really appreciate you watching my videos. I like the sxsblog videos too. They seem like cool guys.👍
+Zane Turner thanks Zane I think that's what I'm going to do. my buddy is designing them right now hopefully they'll be out next week. we'll see how they work.👍

Well guess what it’s here came in today from October to January the 17t was a long wait I will be picking it up this Friday thank god and thank you for all the videos I got my xrc lol
I replaced both rear tires on my ‘17 before winter and couldn’t believe the amount of mud, clay and rocks packed into the calipers, the axle innards and up into the rear body that my power washer doesn’t reach. I’d be interested in what your buddy comes up with. Btw I ordered a ‘18 XRC, my dealer said he couldn’t get one, then could, then couldn’t and now can. I’ve got my fingers crossed. Do you own the power sports dealership in your description? I see they have one in stock.
I'm in Virginia, it would be a long haul. I'll first see if my dealer can get one...if not, I know where I can get one. I may call your buddy tomorrow just to see what transport might be. Thanks!
Hi Brandon another great video mate, I remember years ago when I did minor off roading I recall one guy having exhaust fed air lift bags for jacking the vehicle off soft terrain do these things still exist? Would be great if one vehicle didn't have a winch ;)
+Fancy a Bev Mate? That's pretty crazy I have never heard of exhaust fed airbags. I do not know if those exist anymore. thanks as always for the comment hope everything's going good👍
Brandon Pierce they were used on the original mitsubishi shogun I've not seen them for years! www.amazon.co.uk/30178-Inflatable-Car-Jack/dp/B000NI4QZO something like these. Maybe there's a new market for them ;) and still waiting for the delivery date on the leaf :(
Bummer! Hey how does that Can Am screw jack work on the XRC?? I thought the X# had to have half doors to access the lift point? I need to get a new jack - does this screw jack work on my XRC?
Hi Brandon, did you take the Scrapers off the old Maverick when you put the 15 inch wheels on? I was thinking of getting 15 inch for my xrs, but you say it just catches bigger rocks. My back Rims are rely scratched up, I ride in the Rockies so it screws them real quick. Also 3 out of 4 tires are losing air, I guess the 2.0 stands for 2 ply tire. Good Video and good content, something we all have to deal with, Thanks Also, I saw an add for a BOV for the X3's Turbo, Blow Off Valve. They said Can Am should have put one on, they said all Turbos have them, but Can Am doesn't have one. I don't know enough about Turbos. Any thoughts?
No I left my scrapers on my old machine and my new machine. but I don't really feel like the bigger Wheels help and there's way better Tire selection for 14s. my buddy John at rokblokz has made a new flap and you just gave me a set of them I'm going to do a video and they'll be a coupon code for all my subscribers to get them at a good deal. I think they're going to work really well. You're not losing air because your tires you're losing air because your beadlocks. with beadlock wheels you pretty much have to check your tires every ride I know it's annoying but it's kind of how it goes. You may need to loosen your beadlock clean the rim the beadlock and the tire and retorque them it'll probably help
+E Windfeld what the blow off valve does is bleeds off the air in the system when you let off the throttle so the turbo can spin freely that way when you put your foot back on the gas it's already spinning and it's less laggy. So it may help with throttle response. I haven't done the research on the Can-Am I'll have to take a look at them.
+James Stinett James a 15 inch wheel would be nice. but on my last gen Maverick I put 15 inch wheels on and it just caught bigger rocks. literally put a hole through one of my wheels.👍
Great vid as usual Brandon. Hope soon Can-Am will come out with a 4 passenger version. Wife loves to ride only, then we have our Cane Corso that tags along and would be able to haul ass to the next town for goodies. Our back road takes a full size SUV/4X4 to access, the latter for the rainy seasons. With an RC, no speed limit for our road LOL. How you like your Phantom? My last week in Central Colombia, got my MPP up for some great shots but was very concerned with flyaways due to the new GO 4 App, but zero issues! Super vids taken and one business transaction for Real Estate. Can't wait to fart around with Jeepin in the foothills of AZ. Take care brother, stay safe and keep the memory card full.
+Viper1 Can-Am should be releasing it the RC in a 4-seat version anytime should be pretty cool. the Platinum Maverick Pro is pretty sweet I bet you got some good shots down in Columbia. Drones are super fun I need to get out and use mine a little more. thanks again for all the comments and likes.👍
The X3 definitely has an issue but that particular damage was just user error. You hit something. lol The damage came from outside. The worst issue is that rocks get inside the back wheels and do damage from the inside. Beautiful machine btw.
I'm actually considering 16 inch wheels because of this design flaw. I don't know if that would cure it completely. The small rocks could get out (like any ATV) but larger rocks could get in. But larger rocks tend to stay on the ground and not get kicked up like small ones do.
Good info, good video and great idea good to know the quirks! Been looking at Mavericks for a while particularly this model, maybe this year depends on taxes and a couple other things. What’s your friends website with the flaps? Was thinking some 33” tires what are your thoughts?
+Van HellChenyo they're fun man. I definitely have no regrets I love my X3. Be careful what tires you put on your rig make sure they're not too heavy I tried some truck tires and I hated them ruin the ride and took too much power. Here's the link for the mud flaps.👍
+Brandon Fredenburg thanks for the comment. I have ran 15 in Wheels before I felt like they just let bigger rocks get in and I smashed a hole through the will because of that.
+Shawn McCutcheon thanks for the comment. I disagree I had 15 inch wheels on my last Maverick. they allow the smaller rocks to get out. but they also allow huge rocks to get in. I punched a hole completely through the rim into the tire the size of a baseball.
Hey buddy where did you pick uo the blue mud guards from ,,,, they look cool and probably work a treat
Your friend makes those trailing arm mudflaps that seem to work great for the exact issue you talked about here.
+crazynova23 he is working on a new version that should help a lot I'm pretty excited to try them out.👍

Agree with you guys regarding SXSBlogs. Keep up the great vids Brandon, we all enjoy!!
+Viper1 thanks buddy I really appreciate you and all your comments and likes. you're the man👍
Hey Brandon, you might want to try rubber mud flaps mounted to the trailing arms that's what seems to work for all the desert racers.
+Zane Turner thanks Zane I think that's what I'm going to do. my buddy is designing them right now hopefully they'll be out next week. we'll see how they work.👍

Can you do a review on that Can-am jack?
Does your headlights flicker when winching in/out?
Bolt some semi mud flaps to the skid...works great. I also used bed liner on my trailing arms and rims
I fix it with some Rokblokz trailing arm guards they work great
Never thought of using winch for that
Easiest way to change a tire😜
I have a buddy who sponsored by can am and races king of the hammers who has a fix for that. He sells a kit. Ran it on my xrc and it works flawlessly
Rustin Staheli send me a link I would love to check it out

My good friend owns that dealership. if you want to come and pick it up I'm sure he'd give you a good deal👍

Hey bro what cleaning products do you use on the plastics?
Jesus check out my detailing video😎👍ua-cam.com/video/DFd9HGZ3N_Y/v-deo.html
I just learned something new. Great way to use the winch!!
+Outdoor Maddness yes a lot easier than using a jack. it work great and it was a lot of fun👍

What size is the cross wheel lug for canam x3
Taking the little mud swipers off the bottom off the brake caliper helps with crap getting caught in between it and the wheel
Thanks I will look into that. my friend has made me some trailing arm flaps. so I'm going to try those and see how they work and go from there.👍
Bummer! Hey how does that Can Am screw jack work on the XRC?? I thought the X# had to have half doors to access the lift point? I need to get a new jack - does this screw jack work on my XRC?
I love mine...
I noticed that stone throwing...
Where do you lift from? I thought the arm on the jack went through the door from the outside.
hi i’m asking what is the sizes fo the lug nuts for the wheels?
19 mm
Brandon, what tire pressures are you running. Can Am calls 19 front and 24 rear for the XRC. How are you running it?
Waleed Najm no way that's way too high I run 10 and 1/2 PSI

Any idea on How much will this can am cost in india?
On the canam’s you really need a 15” wheel to stop the rocks getting trapped between the rim and caliper
+James Stinett James a 15 inch wheel would be nice. but on my last gen Maverick I put 15 inch wheels on and it just caught bigger rocks. literally put a hole through one of my wheels.👍
How about an inside aluminum cover (outer portion) of some type you many see on some older model 4X4's? May need some air cooling but not sure.
Curious as to where that riding location was? Looks like a place I ride in New Mexico
Christopher Munoz Looks like Lake Havasu AZ
lindo vídeo

For sure I just caught a rock. but I wish the Can-Am would clear out the Rocks better from inside the rim. thanks for watching😎👍

Lone star racing makes a trailing arm mudflap that helps quite a bit
Nice I end up getting a set from my friend John he made a cool set trailing arm guards for the xrc
Brandon Pierce does he sell products for the rzr ?
rashid damen yes he does he's got a really nice set of flaps and trailing arm guards for the RZR Turbo S
Brandon Pierce does he have a website ?
rokblokz.com
Did you ever solve this problem?
The solution is to get 15 inch wheels
Thanks Brandon, I am Subscribing Now. Just you and SXSBlog.
+E Windfeld thanks so much I hope I earned it. I appreciate all the support and I'm looking forward to a fun 2018👍
Get trailing arm guards and take the wheel scrapers off. Done and done.
Yep that's what I did thanks man😎👍
Get the LSR mud flaps. They keep a lot of crap off the rear.
I got a good set of trailing arm guards so this doesn't happen again😎👍
You need to run 15" wheels and remove the scraper blade that's on the trailing arm
+Brandon Fredenburg thanks for the comment. I have ran 15 in Wheels before I felt like they just let bigger rocks get in and I smashed a hole through the will because of that.
I get pissed painting my trailing arms, I hate it... Not as much tonight for some reason!
+Sarah Gilbert 👍
I should be getting mine next week hopefully still haven’t got it yet lol 😂 I am putting 15 inch omf rims on it
+Ryan Clark Ryan hope you get yours soon make sure and tighten the front sway bar links when you get it.👍
Brandon Pierce ok
I liked and Subbed!!
+Don Fuller Don you are the man. I appreciate the like and the sub👍
here is the link for the rack

15 in wheels no more problems
+Shawn McCutcheon thanks for the comment. I disagree I had 15 inch wheels on my last Maverick. they allow the smaller rocks to get out. but they also allow huge rocks to get in. I punched a hole completely through the rim into the tire the size of a baseball.
Get mud flaps
Rokblokz.com trailing arm guards/flaps took care of the problem on my X3 RC
Yes that's exactly what I did I got some rock guards from Rokblokz 😎👍
