Left back Xhaka at European semi final is when i gave up on Arteta. I haven't changed my mind.

Havertz did play as a striker in the first and second leg against Bayern
It’s not Arsenal’s process it’s a football process. Every team that’s either gets old or have a bunch of overpaid players go through the same thing

Havertz played up front the first leg, it was Jorginho rice odegaard in midfield, the last 20 minutes Jesus came on up front, if you’re going to criticise the manager at least back it up with facts
Arteta deep in his heart wants to play Havertz in midfield, that's what he bought him for. But he knows in his mind that Havertz doesn't have ball keeping ability and leaves gaps in midfield, he's more of a Muller than Xavi. It absolutely pains him but at the same time he wants to win so he has to drop the stubbornness eventually. This Havertz in midfield experiment is one bad habit he picked from Pep Guardiola who probably would have two champions league titles instead of one with man city if he didn't have habit of experimenting in important games.
But mikel isn't even consistent with that 'bad game' rule as Havertz had bad months not games & still started. Saka, Martinelli etc.

We were better in the first leg because havertz played midfield. come on now, you can not like the player there but you have to at some point acknowledge how he functions in the midfield.
havertz in the midfield was the only way for us to beat Bayern this season, it's why arteta tried it again against villa in the lead up to the away leg.
