You can buy baking dishes at any store that sells kitchen ware, like Target, Walmart etc. My local grocery store has a kitchen section with all kinds of muffin tins, measuring cups etc.
They are expensive (ours around the same price). They are TOTALLY worth every penny! I have had mine for 4 years and they are still in perfect condition and have saved me hours of scrubbing time and save your cookie sheets at the same time.
I use the store brand "no name" peanut butter that tends to be a bit softer than the Kraft or Skippy brands. You can soften the cream cheese in the microwave, I do that quite often when I forget to take it out ahead of time. You just need to be careful to put it in for only 20 seconds or so at a time.
I made these for a bridal shower and they were soooooo delicious! By the time I got to the table to pick up some food the plate of them was empty. I follow many of your baking tutorials, you give great instructions. Nice to see a fellow Canadian. :)
I made these for my kid cousin's birthday party, and using frosting drew eyes and smiles on them. The kids thought they were very good, and it was not really a messy dessert. The parents enjoy them too :)
wow!! they look sooo good! I imagine these would look great in a little cello bag and ribbon for a table favor sort of thing!! awesome! Massive cheesecake pop is massive!! Courtz
I've decided to make this for my family, my only change is to use the brownie as the "crust" & it seems to be fantastic! I also used a half recipe & it's the perfect amount! Thanks for the suggestion! :)
I travel every year with a couple of youtube friends and one of the first things we do when we arrive is go to Walmart in whatever city we are in, lol. It's kind of a tradition now. I head straight for the food/baking section looking for things you can't find here like peanut butter captain crunch cereal and canned spray cheese (gross yes but it is a guilty pleasure). This Hawaiian Walmart had a cart escalator to bring your cart up to the parking level, I was enthralled and took photos, lol
As far as I know, mascarpone is basically the Italian version of cream cheese. Swapping them should be fine (just like swapping pancetta for bacon), but depending on the differing fat contents you might get a more runny/fluffy/crack prone cheesecake.
For the people that dont want to use the peanut butter another idea is to use sunbutter. It is like peanut butter but made with sunflower seeds. It tastes the same and works with this recipe. I have tried the recipe and the sunbutter works well.
I personally don't like cheesecake or brownies, but I know that my mother would LOVE LOVE LOVE these. So I'll for sure be making some of these for her birthday. :)
I see how you're brownies were sticking to your knife when you were them at 1:33. What I do is I spray my knife with cooking spray and I think is works quite well.
Hi, I am wondering if these would work without the brownie? I love cheesecake and peanut butter but I don't like brownies.... maybe I'll just have to give it a shot...
SWEET! Another famous youtuber that is a Canadian!!! I'm proud to be living in Canada (funny thing is that I have that exact same (Lucernera (or whatever it's called) 35% whipping cream!! Thumbs up if you live in Canada and your proud of it!!
Strange, since I also live in Ontario... Oh well. Would you recommend putting such ingredients in the microwave for a little bit to soften them? Or would accidentally melting them be undesirable?
Can you do a "baker beginner" video like everything we would need if we were starting off. Kind of like dessert essentials. For ex. decorating, cookbooks, tools, ingredients? Thx
I not very big on sweets at all yet I think I try this this Y I work @ the Y camp! Let me ask u this I pack my lunch is this something that will be safe in a lunch box with ice packs. Now it is summer and NC so it maybe 95+ out when we are eating lunch. We eat out side is it safe to pack them or not?
What kind of consistency and fat ratio does peanut butter have? I'm a peanut allergic myself, so I've never tried it, but I'm sure I could figure out a way of omitting it if only I knew a little more about the product. Is it buttery, cream cheese-y, Nutella-y, crème fraiche-y or something completely different?
Dear yoyomax, does the cream cheese mixture tend to melt once it's out in room temperature after sitting in the fridge over night ? The problem I'm facing with these recipes is that my mixture tends to softens after its in room temperature again.
Is it ok if the brownie pieces kinda smushed and didn't keep the large cube shape? Like it rumbled and smushed and turned into like brownie mix with butter, peanut utter, and eggs?
Quick Question, At my Local culinary Chef mart. I found Silicone baking mats, however I seen it was 24.99!! I was just wondering if Yours was around the same Price? And If It was, Was it worth the investment? Thanks =]
Sweetie! A fellow Canadian! This excites me. What part of Canada are you from? I'm on the east coast - Cape Breton, NS actually. I loved this video and will definitely be trying this out. Thanks a ton for the share :)
Hello, this may be a VERY bizarre question, but what is room temperature in your house? I can't help but notice that your room temperature butter/peanut butter/cream cheese always seems to look much softer than mine at room temperature.
You do such a great job of explaining things. I really admire that. These look yummy. Alas, they will remain just something to drool over while I eat my healthy carrots! LOL. Diets suck.
Hey yoyomax12 or Tammy, I am only 10 I have more to learn....but i hope to be a professional baker..but i made these today and they taste plain and it tasted like there was no sugar i made my brownies from scratch soi didnt make it so sweet i thought they would be quite sweet but then i just atsed it it didnt taste so great.... for the cream cheese part i put doubled 1/4 so doubled it...do you know whats wrong? please reply
These look too good! I'm going to make them soon :) I might skip the last step (the chocolate), they just look sooooo delicious just as they were! :D Thanks!
there is no sound on my computer right now, so i have like only some idea of what you are doing.. but when i saw u put the brownie in the creamcheese/pb ness, i freaked out wit happyness

It always makes me laugh when you predict people's odd substitution questions. You are so kind to even acknowledge them.

These would be worthy of a try, definitely one to go for. I love peanut butter. Thanks for showing us your ideas. The explanations are very clear too.
I made these for my kid cousin's birthday party, and using frosting drew eyes and smiles on them. The kids thought they were very good, and it was not really a messy dessert. The parents enjoy them too :)
I love the outside photos at the end! They add a nice homey feel to the video. I really like the uniqueness of this recipe. :)

I just told DH "That's IT! I am running away to Canada!" I will definitely be making this one!
Thanks for sharing it!
Well, looks like I'm putting my diet off for another day. These look incredible, off to the store I go!
As far as I know, mascarpone is basically the Italian version of cream cheese. Swapping them should be fine (just like swapping pancetta for bacon), but depending on the differing fat contents you might get a more runny/fluffy/crack prone cheesecake.
It is cheesecake on a stick with brownie pieces in it.
For the people that dont want to use the peanut butter another idea is to use sunbutter. It is like peanut butter but made with sunflower seeds. It tastes the same and works with this recipe. I have tried the recipe and the sunbutter works well.
Even though I don't like cream cheese, I like cheese cake and brownies and cake pops so this looked really good!
I personally don't like cheesecake or brownies, but I know that my mother would LOVE LOVE LOVE these. So I'll for sure be making some of these for her birthday. :)
I don't think it will make a big difference as long as you mix it properly to incorporate them completely
hey the measuring cup thing that you mixed the whipping cream and chocolate chips - I have the same one thanks and love your videos
I see how you're brownies were sticking to your knife when you were them at 1:33. What I do is I spray my knife with cooking spray and I think is works quite well.

was wondering if you could try a frozen version of it, made with no bake cheesecake recipe and popsicle molds. Could be super good for summer.
Strange, since I also live in Ontario... Oh well. Would you recommend putting such ingredients in the microwave for a little bit to soften them? Or would accidentally melting them be undesirable?
Yummy, I made these and the batter was delish, i'm sure the pops will be as well, will finish them with the chocolate in the morning. Thanks for this
i sing along with your theme song it makes me happy and inspires me to try the recipe
2 Questions...
1: Does the coating stay hardened without being constantly refrigerated?
2: Why only decorate the sides?
those look YUMMY!!!! could I substitute the cream cheese for mascarpone?
Can you do a "baker beginner" video like everything we would need if we were starting off. Kind of like dessert essentials. For ex. decorating, cookbooks, tools, ingredients? Thx

Dear yoyomax, does the cream cheese mixture tend to melt once it's out in room temperature after sitting in the fridge over night ? The problem I'm facing with these recipes is that my mixture tends to softens after its in room temperature again.
@Yoyomax12 Umm When you bake, do you record then edit it to make it faster, and add voice when your editing? Or you talk while your baking?
Is it ok if the brownie pieces kinda smushed and didn't keep the large cube shape? Like it rumbled and smushed and turned into like brownie mix with butter, peanut utter, and eggs?
