hey guys, I know you guys are the professionals and if it weren't for u, my ripstik life would be boring. So all respects to you. But being a skating teacher myself and teaching others to freeskate, there's one thing I would suggest when teaching beginners: If they're Goofy like me, have them put the left freeskate diagonally in front of them, and the right freeskate as the starting point, behind the left one. Then have them push off to get that speed from the beginning. (vice versa if they're regular). Otherwise it becomes a huge struggle and use of energy to get going the way you demonstrate it. It's a lot harder to get speed that way.
Connor was able to turn left and right, yes! Turning right (toes together) still needs some work. Next session, I think he just might learn the full motion 😁
Y'all should try sending some pairs to braille skateboarding. They are almost always willing to test new sports like this and it'd be interesting to see how pro skateboarders do
