    We 100% support you Mr. Burlison, our 2nd amendment rights have been stepped on for too long, they have done more harm than good, there has been a lot of lost lives, then the gatekeeping of safety devices that could have helped people prevent hearing loss, or disabled people from being able to defend themselves more easily. They are needing to cut budgets and this is one excellent start of saving some money.

    At 6:00 you're exactly right that a whole lot was covered up. The most egregious thing about the Malinowski raid was that the so called "new rule" had only been announced but was NOT YET in effect. That means the previous rule of 50 or more guns per year meant you were "engaged in the business" WAS in effect and Malinowski was suspected of selling ~140 guns over the course of 3 years which would be well within the definition of the previous rule. That means the raid was absolutely NOT about the new "engaged in the business" rule so what was it really about? Let's be clear, even if it was in effect it would have been ex-post facto and there are a whole pile of issues with that.

    There is not a single word in the constitution that authorizes the ATF. Therefore they have been unconstitutional "abrnitio" from the beginning, and therefore nothing they do or say is lawful and doesn't have to be followed. Thus is jurisdiction prudence.

    I agree. You can use section 3 of article 3 of the constitution. The ATF was founded in 1973. Nixon was president at that time and he resigned from office because of the Water gate scandal.

    Many firearms have NEVER been registered because there was never a legal reason TO register. So, the firearms tracing program is pretty useless.

      Except in crazy states like MA... But yeah, before the 1968 GCA, non NFA stuff was not tracked in any way. Hell, many of the cheaper manufacturers didn't even bother to serialize their firearms, and the ones who did, did so more for internal records keeping and production efficiency purposes than anything else.

    While I agree that the ATF needs to go, we need to address the root cause. We need to repeal the NFA and GCA, and actually give violations of the Constitution teeth. It would be nice to see states who pass gun control have federal funding revoked.

    The approach they made in Maryland family. Why do they come during the night, what is the exigent circumstances, they seem to make no prior contact, the government agencies reckless procedures has spilled over in to local law enforcement, Kentucky local sheriff' deputies just before midnight, beat on door of retired man, all for stolen weed eater. That was wrong adjacent address, they shot that man, why because he brought his firearm to unusual activity at his door. Law enforcement needs a reset, they are too willing to shoot when they are not on solid grounds, they use their actions to cover their actions.

      Why would there need to be enforcement since all gun laws including denying felons is unconstitutional. As much as we like to believe that it's stopped them from doing crime it hasn't. And the edict has created an entire industry of private prisons.

    With everything in the bill can you also put in that it will repeal all the gun control laws i.e. NFA the Hughes amendment the Brady act gun free school zones act and the bipartisan safer communities act to name a few because if those and the other laws are still in place then getting rid of the ATF would be like taking down an abandoned building with crackheads the problem is just gonna go somewhere else but still get rid of the ATF

    Abolishing the ATF will not accomplish anything without getting rid of the underlying firearm infringing laws such as the NFA, GCA the Hughes amendment etc! Without removing the gun laws of ther alphabet agencies will simply take over the ATF actions! Thanks Paul

    Since our rights to own firearms is guaranteed by the Constitution, then firearm laws should be Federal, not State. This would also insure consistency from state to state. Just my opinion.

If you allow the courts to determine what is and what is not constitutional, then you are allowing the general government to decide and it will always choose itself, because it loves power. Actually, it comes down to the people of the States. We determine what is constitutional and what is not. We are Sovereign and we must get back to acting like it.

      We the People formed the government, including the justice system and courts.
      The courts are the authorities on what the words of the laws and the Constitution mean in practice; that is, they interpret those words. SCOTUS is the ultimate, final authority.
      Private individuals like you have no authority to impose your personal interpretations of the words of the laws and Constitution on anyone else.

      If you allow a government entity, something that was created by the people of the States, to determine its own authority, then their authority becomes limitless and you have despotism and tyranny. Exactly what we live under today. We are not Free and we haven't been free for a very long time..
