I go to church regularly but I don’t have a lot of friends. I just don’t seem to keep people in my life. I honestly think it’s because I have relied too much on people in my past. I have been very codependent and I believe that God allows me to be alone because he wants me to be more dependent on him.
I feel the same way… but if we’re being honest finding friends that help us dive in deeper with god is also very necessary to grow.
I attend church every week, and I have zero friends. Over 15 years I have struggled with this. Honestly, culturally Christianity is damaging any chance of making real friends. Taylor swift isn't the defining factor for making friends.

Yes, you are not alone and are dearly loved by Jesus. I know how hard it can be to get connected with people we can truly be open with. Get connected in your local body, join a small group, and intentionally cultivate relationship. Lord bless you and keep you.
