So Mental Health as reasoning for a crime, has more of a 'cause and effect' plea behind it i personally think. Loving the True Crime stories Mooney. It compliments the Mob stories very well and it's good to hear your understanding and 'outlook of a situation also. Respectfully handled as always my friend. Continued success to you.

Mentally ill people can be very dangerous, especially schizophrenics. There have been a lot of them lately hanging around LIRR stations and they can go from just rambling to themselves one minute, to being triggered and having a full meltdown the next. I witnessed one of those a few days ago and had to get up and leave immediately. It's a sad situation with almost no real solution.

I suppose the neighbors would have informed the new occupants of the house about it's history. Still, I would imagine there is a lot of negative karma in there. Too high on the creep factor for me. It would feel like living in an occupied mausoleum to me. I've been on a lot of death scenes over the years, and I can feel the bad vibes as soon as I walk into a room.

I know it sounds stupid but however, there are some really sick/bad people out there mental health or not, the prisons are full of them and that could have made the decision to seek help, Keep them away from the innocent public and remember in prison most claim some sort of lame ass excuse for what the bastards have done.

Went to Uniondale high school with Bobby & his sister. His mother & father were very active in their lives. He always had a terrible temper. I never knew of him to have any mental issues. His sister was a saint. The friend who escaped is actually a history teacher’s daughter…who also taught us in high school. Really sad to hear this happened in 2017. Bobby needs to get the death penalty and I’m disappointed he didn’t.

Please please please. If my mother, one of my other aunts, Candace and her family or Ms Simpson and her family see this… or any member of any of our families were to see this… it would be literally 10 minutes of torture and traumatize them all over again. I can’t even describe what Seeing this and watching this just did to me so I know the horror it would give them. It’s been hard enough seeing article after article after article from day one. But this just felt like a walk through of the night. You wanna do a article or something I get it. I’d even be happy to clarify some of the facts that are incorrect for you. But respectfully please take that video down. Please.

You've been doing this too long. "Normal if you're beating somebody to death with a hammer ..." Sounds like my cop and law enforcement relatives at a family get together. By the way, the old "on the wrong meds" trope by his attorney obviously was rejected by the judge, even in Left Wing New York, since he was sentenced to 50 years. They always attempt that one. The guilty plea was to avoid an even worse sentence. If a person with a mental disability that makes them dangerous is given meds that allow them to live among normal people, as he obviously did for many years, then stops taking them, that is a conscious decision. They are informed and aware of what might happen. Hence they are responsible. Let's just say I have a relative with a somewhat similar condition who spent decades in prison for a murder. They take their meds and have striven to live a decent life in the long time since their release from prison. Personally I think they had justification for the killing as it was a sexual abuse situation when they were young. My relative doesn't want to ever hurt anyone else again, no matter what the reason.
Boy, that must have given the neighbor a shock at a little after 1:00 in the morning to see a bloody, screaming girl, who he possibly knew, run in front of his car in what looks to be a quiet neighborhood. I wouldn't feel comfortable outside late at night for a long time if I was him.
Seriously though, good job yet again.
