At crew, they don't hand dry due to the chance of something getting caught in the towl and scratching other cars, fast clean friendly. They also have free rewashes if you aren't satisfied. It's really to the person to choose, at the end of the day, it's just a wash 🤷♂️

As a prime carwash employee I’m telling you. Service is key. Crew likes to do as many cars as possible. We don’t worry about that because we are all about quality. Especially when it comes to our interior cleans.
is this why Prime has begged Crew to buy them out repeatedly over the last 5 years, because you don't run many cars?

Yep the micro scratches can be hand waxed out but I guess it can't be avoided? I wish they would come up with touch less wash but I'm guessing maybe that wouldn't clean as well
Those exist, but your correct. It’s very difficult to clean dirt and grime without friction. For what it’s worth the system they have is about the best it’s gonna be.
It’s not because the cloth slapping your car is creating the swirls, it’s because it was holding all the dirt it had while cleaning the car in front of you. All the dirt gets stuck to the cloth and gets slammed into your cars paint. Doesn’t matter if the car wash is loud or quite, it’ll have a good chance of scratching the cars paint either way. And some car washes have the cloth so dirty, that you can actually see dirt on it. So watch out.

reals_790 You idiot! That is extremely false. Do more research before you say that. The brushes are rinsed properly with every movement and rotation, so it doesn't hold dirt or any harmful particles. It's also made of closed cell foam.

Crew car wash opened 5mins near my house around November. My first time ever going thru car wash was December and quickly signed up for membership 22month. My first experience. It was OK. It did scratch my hyundai. I contemplated for month is 22 month worth it? Nah, canceled it last month. Car was dirty as hell. I thought I still had remaining days but it didn't. It quickly denied me. The cash guy renewed it again. 2nd time. I liked the second time. And now. I'm going thru snowstorm but canceled it. I renewed it in impulse, didn't want to pay full price, was already in premium section n couldn't back up and didn't want to make a scene and save face.
My opinion. Pay full price. Ain't worth 22

R Baker Hand washes are actually very bad for your cars, dirt and rocks can get stuck in the sponges and towels which can scratch cars. Soft Touch washes are actually the safest way to wash your cars.
