@@bwow6800 I think bowers is great, but we can't take him at 7. People always bring up Kelce, Gronk, even Mark Andrews that one year when they talk about the importance of an elite tight end. Yet, if you actually look at where each of those people were drafted. Travis Kelce was the 5th TE off the board taken in the 3rd round. Gronk was the 2nd TE off the board taken in the 2nd round. Mark was the 4th TE off the board taken in the 3rd round. The point is that TE is notoriously one of the hardest to draft for as it is the hardest position in the sport besides QB. As a bengals fan Titans are on my radar. They got chido and Boyd from us, kinda over drafted sweat when we thought we can get him in the 4-6 round, they whipped our ass last year and of course they got Brian, wish him the best
Maybe they're better than we think because they have a solid defense and secondary, but imma be real man, Tennessee has me with that honk shmi type of sleep.
They going to be scoring 26 points a game but that defense is going to be giving up 30ppg if they don’t get an elite edge guy to match with laundry and keys and a coverage LB. LT and WR is so deep, we don’t need a wr1 this year with Calvin and Ridley on the outside and burks actually getting a shot at his natural position in the slot, they could get a slot/speedster in the 2nd. They desperately need a LT but I think scheme will make up for what they lack at LT… they need to replace their leading tackler and sack leader in autry. I don’t care how the DBs cover they won’t be able to cover for 8 seconds a play with the dline they have.
@@derekmarks1479 idk man, I watched a lot of the home games in nashville, and then watched highlights for the away games and dude Arden Key might be undersized but he FLIES off the edge of the line at the QB
First of all there’s a good chance that alt won’t be there at pick 7 and second the coach didn’t say we need tight ends as in we’re looking at that for a first round pick, it was more so. We’re not going into trainging camp with only 3 so obviously there gonna get tight ends at some point to add to the roster but it won’t be bowers
I don't want a TE if his name isn't Bowers. Coach also said we need someone to emerge from the slot? Brock Bowers in the slot!? Huh? Sounds good to me? DHop, Ridley, And Bowers in the slot... Still allows chig/whyle to be on the field... And you could go from 11 personnel, to a 2 TE set with no huddle/substitutions needed...or use him (Bowers) as a fullback (run play) then back to 11 personnel. He allows for so much versatility! He is such a a weapon, I would never take him off the field. Again I would use him mostly in the slot , some at TE, some at FB or RB, and even some on the outside. Plus when it's time for his second contract he'll save you $15 million compared to someone like Nabors cause after all .. he is a TE!!!
@@jackripper5270 I’ve already thought of the possibilities with Brock at TE. Obviously a 3 headed monster with Brock at TE could be dangerous. My point is, local media/reporters are hyping alt and completely disregarding olu which wasn’t the case a few months ago. Olu isn’t a bad player and LT is more of a need than TE I doubt the team even trades back from 7 if alt and nabors are gone because why risk missing out on the 2nd best tackle. Furthering the point about TE, they’re not adding a feature tight end. They’re not looking for a star tight end or even a mid round tight end to be a main contributor. The TE they will add to the roster will be a depth tight end. A third TE to be behind whyle and chig. The team doesn’t care about who you WANT at tight end. They need serviceable guys and depth at tight end. More will be added for the competition aspect. But ultimately whoever they add will not really see the field. If Alt is there at 7 you have to take him. If he is gone I would honestly like to trade back (not far) and take the best OT available and then trade back up infront of the Bengals and get Bowers.
Does that trade work in Madden? Nobody even mentions it but best scenario is if a QB makes it to 7. Trade with the Vikings and swap 1st and 2nd round picks (get 11 and 23, give up 7 and 38). But even then you have to take Olu at 11 if you can. I keep hearing about this great OT class but it isn't that great. Only 2 legit LTs and then some RT/OG guys. How is that monumental? Even Morgan, the best OT in round 2 is probably an OG. Take the kid from Yale who played against Jr. college level players. The kid from BYU, right. Paul is a project and not going to be anything early on.
@@mikegustafson58 “does that trade work in madden?” I’m not quite sure what you mean by that tbh man. 90% of trades that happen irl wouldn’t go through the madden sim. @@KBstreams I'm talking a "fairy tale" dream world pick where we get a top 10 TE AND a LT. Just for fun I forced a trade of our 1st and 2nd for Vikings 11 and 23. That trade could actually happen if we have a QB at 7 they want. Only problem is Bowers was taken at 10. Either way, only way to make that work is to take Bowers first and whatever OT 2nd. . The Jets at 10 don't even have a 2nd round pick. We could gain a 3rd if the Bears at 9 want to move to 7 (they don't have a 2nd) Then I forced a trade with GB for thier 12, our 2nd and a 1st next year (they wouldn't take that). SO got Olu and Bowers, Bowers first, but gave up a 1st next year in a Madden like fairy tale trade.
