- Alain de Cadenet gives us a special look at his 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C while he prepares for a race during the Monterrey Motorsports Rolex Reunion. We meet up with Alain at Laguna Seca before his qualifying run of the day and get a first-hand look at one of the most extremely rare and valuable cars in the world.

Why ruin a clip like this by adding music over the wonderful engine sounds?
Pretty standard of motor trend to ruin all of their videos with cheesy music played overtop of them
Alain is class, used to enjoy watching Victory by Design and his work on the Speed channel
Reminds me of Alain de Cadenet's videos, wonderful presenter.
A beautiful car. Amazing that it had supercharging and 8 cylinder rumble.
Alain is legend . Love his car reviews on discovery chanell
i miss victory by design...
Fun fact: The Alfa Romeo 8C was the first to ever bear the Ferrari prancing horse shield!
I go to speedway motorcycle races in part to smell the methanol and bean oil; it smells like racing.
I would be sooo scared of crashing it or having someone else bump into me, while on the track.
Nice car
Motor trend please get rid of the 12 year olds in charge of your production and get some real car folks that won't add crappy music over an otherwise great video.
Lovely car, although i would recommend wearing some kind of harness just in case.
In cars like this a harness is more likely to kill you. If you have a front impact the car just crumples and crushes you with the engine so a harness wont help and if you flip it the best thing that can happen to you is to fly out of the car because there is no roll bar and the car just lands on top of you.
Hello

Boring. Skip this Pebble Beach thing or make one unique video only, so I can igonore it once instead of after 4 times a day.
