This is absolutely the most agonizingly bad and frustrating part of this game, I both watched my brother play this and played it myself later, but I absolutely despised this part because they just make the "marine" act like an absolute dumbass
I love how the hot photography teacher is so much tougher and better in a fight then the military guy 😂 Without time travel Jefferson would have won 99 times out of 100
It was a pretty unique concept at the time with decent execution, this just happens to be one of its lower parts. Overall, the first game (and first game alone) had an interesting enough premise and enough heart put into it that it earned that cult following. There’s a certain charm to it that’s just kinda hard to describe.
@@Madewithmematic11037 I mean the premise was good. Slice of life, nostalgic teen romance/drama, LGBT, slight magical elements. And it's very much designed like Telltale games, which were really popular. Similar to Telltale games tho, you kinda have to go into it knowing it's more like an interactive VN rather than a videogame. Certainly not for everyone.
David acts like he was waiting his whole life for someone to tell him to kick a table

You mean the Vet who now works as a security guard who can't take down a scrawny art teacher in close quarters once he's disarmed? Seems fine to me.

Something off the trolley, dears?
Nahh 😂😂
YESSIR
Never played Life is Strange but it had such a cult following, I just assumed it was decent.
This seems... Not great.

It's great! This clip also shows it
It is a great game, I was never into these episodic games before. Life is strange is a powerful game. The later games are trash though
@@legacian4039Nothing you listed was good
"The game isn't bad. You're just making it look bad. reeEEEEEE!"
holy shit this game is trash
What game
@@imruka530 Life is strange
Nah it's ok, it's just VERY overrated
For its time, it was a good game. Still has some decent moments in it, but yeah, it does leave stuff to be desired.
It is a very strong 6/10. I love narrative Quantic Dream or Telltale like games but this one has some pretty bad choices
