you are welcome! I´m a christian who tries to observe the Torah, fllowing Jesus as He did perfectly ina all aspects of His life. It is funny for me (not in a twisted pathological way or mother daughter indetinty crisis) seeing this, for a jew (for in His flesh Jesusu was a jew as God intended) will reign the world. The book of the prophet Ezquiel and the letter to romans of Paul or Shaul has helped me a lot understanding this situation that the jews have gone trough and what should be my stand for it (mainly in the letter of Shaul to the romans) that if you or any of the jews who didn't believe in Jesus didn´t believe it was a blessing for the gentile who believed, it was a plan from God, for we didn´t new the ways of God, you did and then part you, a majority didn´t accept His Salvation (His Son) but we did so that none of us (both of us) would't be proudful for we both disobey God and where shown mercy by Him. Thanks to God I understand this and I watch with love every descendent of Abraham for the Messiah died for you (the spotless lamb that Abraham was waiting who saved the life of his only beloved son, the Only beloved son of God) and for everyone who has faith in Him and His Father and His faithful because of Abraham to you. Rivers cannot wash away love. And you will believe, with an open heart, asking for the Salvation of God and He will return to save you from the nations from the old serpent from death. Shalom
Semitism is actually a "racist" concept and therefore anti-semitism is "anti-racist"... funny how that works. A quick search in encyclopedias reveals that the idea of a 'Semitic people' is a racial term popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries, important in establishing the history of these ancient ethnic groups (Source: Wikipedia). The origin of the term "Semitism" in fact comes from the biblical "SHEM" (Hebrew) the name designates one of the three sons of Noah in the Book of Genesis. The term (originating in 1770 by members of the Göttingen School) then makes reference to a culture and race of a "chosen people" that have a closer connection to God than any others. One can suggest that these efforts to elevate (or distinguish) one's own "people" in this way smack of arrogance, elitism, prejudice against other people and gave rise to antisemitism. Antisemitism doesn't then refer to anti-Judaism (in a religious context), or anti-zionism (which would be Israel people or its defenders)... only a would-be racial supremacist ideal of Jewishness. So when you hear "antisemitism" from pundits just ask them what doctrine they actually defend. Harry Ostrer, Jewish Professor of Genetics even demonstrates that "Shem" refers to a Jewish race found in DNA for more info on that you can check the following links: - "Race or Religion? Jewish Genes Identified": newobserveronline.com/race-or-religion-jewish-genes-identified/ - "Legacy: A Genetic History of the Jewish People": forward.com/culture/155742/jews-are-a-race-genes-reveal/ So the simple definition of "anti-semitism" would be "anti-racism" if semitism defends racial dogma, ideals or doctrines - in any way or form. And it's clear some today equate the SHEM gene with "semitism" as a distinct jewish ethnic identity and race even down to DNA levels... So the definition is still being re-written. For further research on the subject (and if you still doubt race is the issue): Shem genealogies (bloodlines) is found in Genesis and those believing these scriptures to be historically accurate profess: Shem is the father of the Semitic race; Japheth is the father of the Japhetic race; Ham is the father of the Hamitic race. The "Book of Jasher", published by Talmudic rabbis in the 17th century also provides further insight as how countries and regions are all divided accoring to "RACE". -"Genealogy of Shem": upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ed/Genealogy_shem.gif -"Geographic identifications for the Sons of Noah (Green=Shem, Red=Japheth, Blue=Ham)": upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/0b/Josephustable_3.svg/588px-Josephustable_3.svg.png
I think antisemitism grew out of the fall of Jerusalem in 70 CE & thereafter when the Jews were dispersed amongst the nations who had nothing but contempt for them. What do U think?
@@stanleyshalett4490 Tell you I have posted this paper on several forums since 5 years ago and no one seems dare touch the subject. Funny there is no problem professing the idea of a 'chosen people' if you are religious or defending 'ultra-nationalism' if you support Ukraine (these days) or openly defend Israel as a patriot - but the mere mention of these as a subject of study suddenly everyone hides and cower away. I think everyone needs to balance 'critical race theory' with a healthy dose of 'self-esteem' and pride in their own people or we simply fail both as researchers and human beings in this world... the risk pushing the ideals too far though always leads to conflicts with other groups so tolerance and diplomacy is always the wise recommended approach. That goes for everyone regardless of your background or heritage.
The German thought process through the ages has always been hostile towards the Jews & gave rise to pseudo-scientific theory of the Aryan race. The Semitic people are not a race, just a group of people like you & I are.
@@almarshall1452 The German thought process has always been hostile to the Jewish people, calling them an inferior race, inferior to the Aryan race, which is pseudo scientific gunk. In reality the Jews are a people like U & I are.
@@stanleyshalett4490 I can only repeat what religious scholars and the official academic position is on the matter: to deny the Jewish race or Shem line (like you seem to do here) is antisemitism and to deny Jewish homeland is anti-zionist - simple as that. This is because Jewish ethnicity, nationhood, and religion are strongly interrelated. And as Judaism is the ethnic religion of the Jewish people they express the idea that they have been chosen by God as his special people. Shem was the traditional ancestor of the Shemitic or semitic Hebrew "race" (check online definitions)- comprising a group of kindred nations, which also includes the Arabs, Phoenicians, Aramaeans and Syrians. Interestingly to deny the 'race' factor in any manner - or trivialize the persecution of Jews trying to minimize their importance as a people or attempts at erasing their biblical history as an ethnic race - can land you in trouble both with authorities and your peers that may see it as "Holocaust denial" as well as "revisionist - much like Whoppi Golberg recently did. So careful my friend.
