If you pay attention a lot of the shots aren’t doing the most damage possible as he’s turning with them. However depending on just that doesn’t work as well seen here. He’s got a foundation, good reflexes, and he knows how to keep his hands up. I think he keeps them low to keep his output high while being able to move from shots. But if he wants to get further he has to learn a textbook defense and weave in his athleticism and head movement.
