These thugs/terrorists are nothing but cowards disguised as policemen brave to protect and serve. If the police departments are not there to protect and serve, then why the HELL are the tax payers allocating 40% of the city's budget to this useless police department? This is purely EXTORTION from the tax payers.
The parents of those affected by this incident needs to initiate a class action lawsuit against the city and the useless corrupt police department.

The healthcare ignorance in the US has always had me stumped. In my country I had kidney cancer. I had major surgery, a week in hospital, numerous drugs and months of after care. The bill I got for it was ... oh that's right, there was no bill, the Govt makes sure everyone gets what they need as a right, not a luxury.
Too big an industry built around people having illnesses, Execs./CEO`s gaining ultra wealth from this out of date system, and too much lucre being spread amongst politicians to insure its continued survival.

You are way over simplifying the healthcare situation here based upon reports you see on YT meant for Americans so we can improve as no country exceeds us and we like to keep it that way. I lived in the UK 10 years and I know the care the NHS provides is well below what Americans receive. I canreceive healthcare at any hospital in American either free or based upon what I can afford. I currently receive that care at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic, a healthcare facility that foreign nationals, including British, ate desperate to get to for health care. Why is that? As an expat at the time the joke was that if you need healthcare while in the UK we call 1-800-USAIR. Anyone can get the best care in the world with zero waiting. There are many programs here that insure that.

This is so true and it has me tearing up! I was raised conservative and when I got old enough to break free and think for myself I’ve learned to love everything! It’s made me feel lighter than I’ve had in years, and I’ve met so many beautiful people just like me!
you're the man Paul. i was born in this country to Mexican parents. they worked thier asses off for us. my wife literally just had her immigration interview in Juarez yesterday, the whole process took almost 5 years and well over $20k in lawyer fees and all the other fees that you have to pay. but she was accepted! she called me right after the interview crying absolute tears of joy. she's on her way today to see her mom that she hasn't seen in 14 years! her dad passed last year and she couldn't go to the funeral because she wouldn't have been able to come back, the pain that caused i dont wish on anyone, but that what immigrants have to endure. anyways thank you Paul for being a great human being. love you man.
I GREW UP IN THE BAY AREA (OAKLAND), AND WENT TO SCHOOL WITH SEVERAL CHILDREN FROM DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD. ON MY BLOCK LIVED ONE PORTUGUESE FAMILY, TWO FAMILIES (FROM GUERRERO AND OAXACA), AND ONE FAMILY FROM FRANCE. WE ALL GOT ALONG, PARENTS AND CHILDREN ALIKE. WE KIDS WENT TO SCHOOL TOGETHER UNTIL HIGH SCHOOL. IT WAS THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE BECAUSE AS A YOUNG BLACK GIRL, I WAS INTRODUCED TO DIFFERENT CULTURES AND I LOVED EVERY MOMENT. THERE WAS NEVER ANY SLURS UTTERED REGARDING OUR RACE/CULTURE. WE WERE OUR OWN 'MELTING POT' SO TO SPEAK.

The Christians think you need to go to church to learm how to be a good person. They go to church and still can't get it right.
Oh, the big name ministry leaders have done such an amazing job of twisting scripture for their own gain over the past 40 years. Sometime, look up the group Council for National Policy. It’s a secretive group of ministry leaders, politicians and high powered public servants, political pundits and big name donors who meet three times a year to strategize and create new agenda goals. A few years ago, Mike Pence was their keynote speaker at one of their gatherings - this is WHILE he was VP.
The sad thing is that very few people want to dig to find the truth. If you grew up in it and try to be a critical thinker, then you notice things that (should) bother you. If you are committed to truth (but know there are layers and complexities), then you believe you must not shy away from that which you don’t want to hear - that you must seek reality and quantify it.
But what do you do when you realize a lot of what you’ve been fed is a lie? What do you do when people get upset with the questions you ask and share? Because people DO get upset. Super upset.
And they don’t want to see it. To see it means one is responsible for it. It is HARD to be one little person (or group of people) who is (are) different from the entire community. One gets ostracized and hated so quickly. You’re told that you’re deceived, a sell out, backslidden, an instrument of Satan, baby killer, etc., etc. People who were once so loving and welcoming get enraged and demeaning in a split second. It’s pretty awful.
Everyone that thinks they need an assault weapon needs to join the Military.
I am still waiting for a definition of what is an assault rifle. When my ancestors fought in the Revolution the assault rifle was a single shot musket, by time we reached little big horn your lever action hunting rifle was the assault rifle. Wether it is the semi-auto AR-15, or your grandfather’s M1 Carbine from WWII, or the Korean War, or someone’s Remington 740 semi-auto deer rifle other tan one looks to some mean, they are by design the same. A gun is a deadly tool, I am fire background checks, gun safes, and people accepting responsibility if they own a gun of any kind. I lived in Germany, shot competition and opened more firearms there than I do today. Germany has not only registration, training, background checks, and wait times. And having concealed carry, yes the FBI has fingerprints and checked before I could carry in my state.

It’s pretty clear that an AR15 is designed to deal out a lot of death in a very short period of time. There’s a reason so many of these mass murderers are using AR15s and not M1 Garands; and they’ve been extremely “successful” with them. I’m not opposed to gun ownership, but I do think extensive training should be required to own an AR15 (and possibly a yearly psych evaluation and background check to ensure the owner has no convictions, pending cases, etc. that include possible violent crimes).
Kyle Rittenhouse never would have killed those people had he been properly trained to use his weapon. He got himself into trouble because he foolishly pointed his rifle at people; including a psycho who didn’t appreciate being menaced with a gun. Then he overreacted when that guy threw a plastic bag at him. And when he shot the guy, he didn’t call 911 and stay to render aid; he called a buddy and then ran like a coward. Which is why people thought he was an active shooter. Rittenhouse was irresponsible every step of the way. Training would have made all the difference.

Missile silos are so passé. What the kids want these days are mobile multi missile launchers with 6 MIRVs per ICBM. That’s what’s cool and what every hep cat wants nowadays, Daddy-oh! Gotta be mobile; and the missile carrying vehicle is much cooler at parties. Only squares have static silos. 😆
