The thumbnail had me thinking it was real. We had some in central texas to about 2011-2012 when they shut down the program we had. They were amazing little helo's
Commenting as the video was just uploaded, but can someone please show Lemoine Falcon BMS and it's dash-34 manual? Don't let the slightly worse graphics fool you, the complexity of the flight model and systems simulated far outweight DCS's one. Would be awesome to have a real fighter pilot feedback on that.
On the back panel, on the last row of the ceiling mounted breakers there is one that say "AIR" on a white sticker, in the middle of that last row before ceiling breakers goes to back wall breakers, that will disable the Airbags. They are cool but can ruin your day sometimes... ;)
I want to see Mover vs Gonky in VTOL VR. It is simple but good and there arent a ton of key binds to confuse the situation. Just the standard vr controllers work very well and you can use pedals of you want.
@clutchtucker the 407 is a 4 bladed, stretched version of the 406 which was basically a 206 with quad main rotor blades. OH-58A was the 206 ("2" meaning it has 2 main rotor blades) and as the aircraft was upgraded through time it eventually ended up as a fancier militarized version of the 407.
Just started learning helicopters in DCS and wondering: how do I stop it quickly from flying forward to zero - without loosing or gaining altitude? Thanks for the video.
Speaking of Close Air Support, can you please react on the Broken Arrow scene in We Were Soldiers? There are a lot of interesting aircraft and comms that I think you could enlighten us more of, like the bombs they used, if the strafing effects were accurate...etc. More power sir!
I would disagree. As a proud owner of this module, as well as many other modules, this is the best one I own. Professionally developed, full assed as opposed to other modules getting updates every month for features developers didn’t include in the original released product. Your opinion is yours, and I respect that, but I have found it to be worth every dollar…
Might it have been that dark and mysterious helicopter nastiness known as retreating blade stall? If it was, try not to have that happen during combat operations......

My dad was among the first to work on these back in the day. He absolutely loved them.
i've been LOVING the Kiowa. So far have only flown it single seat, but it has been an absolute blast flying with my buddies in Apache's
I’ve flown a few of these. Some of my best memories.
shouldnt Gonky be in c130 fer support ?

I miss flying the 58d. Rocket exhaust makes me happy.
Very good helicopter, my country still uses many of them

Love it, looks like a lot of fun!
awesome to see stick time Doug
I think where gonna have a lot of blackwater memes from now on with the vr handling of the guns
"Alright lets see if i can fly this."
It's a spicy Bell 407. You'll be fine. 😂
It's more a 407 than a 206.

The DCS version (OH-58D) is more 407. The early version (that's used a lot in law enforcement now) is a 206.

Lower collective, right pedal, smoothly pull back on cyclic.
@@CWLemoine Thank you.

What is the mission of the two sides??? 🤷🏿♂️
Question is.. Can your VR hand interact with the other guy's stick ? 😆
Dude thats gay
It's missing the dry-erase sharpie for drawing the targeting reticles on the canopy.
No, I am not kidding
you can adjust it up/down/left/right by left/right clicking and then dragging with the mouse
Kiowa is the tribe I’m from, I think it’s funny that some people don’t even know it’s a Native American tribe 😂
Bounces off a mountain....
2 mins later...
"Why's it bitching at me"
LMAO
now for the SERE training to kick in...
love it just like real lil expensive
Personally I'm waiting for my big fat Chinook : )
Which map is that?
All these modules are great but there's fuck all to do with them.
Sadly, in my humble opinion, the asking price for this is simply too much at £58 UKP. If it was £30, I'd be flying it now. Shame.

A buddy of mine was a kiowa pilot. Retiring those birds was a poor decision.
Lol. I used to get Mover and Casmo confused. This isn't helping.
Algorithmic engagement comment.
by far the easiest to fly helicopter in the game
Lolol get your M4 ready! Lol

Not at that speed.
@@CWLemoine Oh sorry, I thought you were really haulin gass when it happened. I can't see the gauges. I'll watch it again.
It was less than 100 knots.
That is a bug as far as I know.
I got a retreating blade stall on ECW at about 120 knots. Very normal and predictable
Bouta hour, hour an a half
such an amazing module with the worst rotor animation on the planet for a PAID module.
What map is this?
