My cooked Jack rabbit a time a two that I can remember. But because it was game she would boil it first, then fry it. your mom probably remember her mom doing it that way. But that was wild rabbit though. "Game!"

Hey Mama Jones, that rabbit and gravy look mighty good ! Never had pickled tips before, not sure I could even find them here in Michigan. Are they smoked and pickled ? Or are they... taste wise like pickled pig feet. I know my friends Mama was from Mississippi, after she moved up here she always mention cooking with a pickled smoked meat for her beans and greens, but couldn't find a store that sold it here. I would love to try some of those pickled tips in my beans, greens or green beans sounds like good eating to me.
