- 2 Mitglieder der A1 Community und 2 Fans der A1 Facebook Fanpage haben mit uns das CAT S61 Smartphone im harten Außeneinsatz getestet. Dabei wurde es von 12 Tonnen schweren Fahrzeugen überrollt, von einem 30 Meter hohen Turm geworfen und ordentlich Gatsch und Dreck ausgesetzt.

Why is the title in English while German is spoken in the video.
Cause we use these words in Germany too ...
Some Tests barely showed what they Promise to show. All of the Tests where really dependend on what the Phone lays on. It is a totally different Story when it is on a a normal Road or on a slightly softer Floor. And the Weight of the Vehicles is less Important than the pressure, size and Number of Wheels.
And all of the Tests where also dependend on Luck. Like how Exactly is the Phone landing on the Ground?

we all need a type of a screen or glass that no brake,maybe like diamond or...graphene? whatsoever it will be...we just need a real high technology quality and we don't have to support this cheap(and shit) tech that we need to use that never give to us the security that we hope! When we buy this,we want to know that we will use this for at least 10 years then replace the real machine only if the tech have been improved and not cause a low quality! we all need to hate electronic things that have low quality!

Hi.Now the Cat S61 is a 2 year old phone,and if you like the brand with termal camera option,you must opt for the new S62 pro.If you are interesed of it search in online store like amazon or ebay to buy a new one.Thank you.

I have it ..and I would say it's good as a durable phone cell with some features ...but not as daily driver if you need a real smartphone with speedy processor ..

Tenho um s60, não recomendo nem para meu inimigo. Em 8 meses está estragado, aquecendo foi dinheiro colocado fora. E o pior a garantia é só de 3 meses.
To pensando em comprar esse s60...Mas sei lá.Se não for ele,qual é pelo menos razoável então?Todos são muito ruim não aguento mais!O meu quebrou faz um ano e to completamente desinteressado em comprar outro...Era um Xperia Z3 compact.Interface boa,mas de que adiantou?Vou cursar engenharia eletronica e to afim de ajudar a desenvolver circuitos de grafeno.Tenho esperança no futuro do eletromagnetismo,estamos na idade dos macacos ainda...Bateria é outra coisa passada.A humanidade não merece isso até 2025 por exemplo.Vai depender muito da política mundial.Tudo que precisamos é de capitalismo e legislação rigorosa,o resto é com a engenharia!

@Caroline Pires Eu acho que enquanto os circuitos de grafeno não vir a qualidade dos nossos eletronicos não vão muito além.Vai depender de um pouco de sorte mesmo de cada um além de cuidado q temos de ter com um computador que tá suscetível a tudo já que faz parte do ser humano já como se fosse um membro do corpo.Ainda tenho esperança no cat s60 sim,mas acho o mercado dele aqui no Brasil muito fraco,preço muito alto e que em nenhuma época do ano esteve sequer abaixo dos 1900(se achar por 1900 o preço tá excelente).Eu tinha um xperia z3 compact,tinha uma interface bonita,rápido nunca deu um problema no software!Mas ,não aguentou um dia de calor de 35°C...Trincou a tela e acho que ainda dei sorte de não acontecer nada de grave por causa da bateria que já vinha esquentando muito.Essas baterias de lítio tão passadas demais,ninguém merece!Que venha o eletromagnetismo!Que tipo de problema deu no display no s60 do seu esposo?

My wife got the s61 last Christmas and its amazing ...
Expensive for its specifications but the rugged design, the laser ,the infrared camera and the air sensor absolutely are worth the money .
I suggest buying it used ..definitely not with a contract .
You can get this for at least 200 euro less or even more ..

Hola, me gustó mucho su explicación, el equipo es muy bueno, pero en Colombia es mejor no comprarlo, en mi caso compré un S61 original, cuando paso el año de garantía lo mandé al representante de la marca en Colombia la empresa 'Woden', con miles de requisitos para despacharlo a Bogotá, para que finalmente me digan que no tienen la repuestos para repararlo y que me recomiendan la compra de otro, el diagnóstico que envían es totalmente ambiguo pero si adicionan claramente la cotización para que les compré a ellos el nuevo equipo. En lo personal en Colombia recomiendo "No comprar teléfonos CATERPILLAR de ninguna serie.... Saludos

Achtung! Diese Geräte funktionieren auf längere Zeit nicht. Ich kann nur schwerstens davon abraten diese Geräte zu kaufen. Ich hatte genug Cat Handys um dies zu bestätigen. Die Buchstaben auf der Rückseite des Handys fallen einfach raus. Das ist ein krasser Witz. Der Akku ist schon fast ein KUNSTSTÜCK des Versagens. Eine Folter. Diese Handys Haben nix Wert. Ich bin hin und weg von der Magie. Am Anfang ging das laden wunderbar, nach knapp 1,5 Jahren natürlich nicht mehr. Einfach nur traurig wie man es so versauen kann. Also wenn die Bagger die gleiche Qualität haben sollte man gleich die Polizei holen.. Dann ist das neuste Modell noch schlechter als der Vorgänger WTF..

Hmm, my cat phone s61, acidently droped from my car while i was getting out about half meter high, and a whickle used to past throw it and it destroied my front camera and cornes are destroied too, i am angry with cat phones and i will never bay e new one, to dont forget it has problems with network, while i am just staying it lose every signal, so i have to restart, and other problem is with charging it take all night to get charged 50% and sometimes 3%

Comperato il s61 una merda.. e truffa.. dopo una settimana di utilizzo si e staccata il coperchio di gomma che protegge la porta usb. portato in negozio dopo 2 mesi non mi e ancora arrivato. premetto che il telefono non e mai caduto ha pellicola protettiva su tutto il telefone ed in aggiunta la back cover. Come fatto notare il negoziante e rimasto stupito di come ho trattato l's61 in maniera maniacale... costa troppo funziona a scatti perde pezzi e non son sicuro che regge l'acqua come il galaxy s9 e certo il galaxy sarà più resistente. Sicuro che appena mi ritorna o lo scambio con un on plus 6t o lo rivendo a 250 euro pur di togliermelo mai più cat...

Um celular que veio para aguentar pauleira realmente,mas infelizmente os acabamentos vão se deteriorando...tipo tela do alto falante, películas que embelezam o celular sai com o tempo e fica com uma aparência muito feia com pouco tempo de uso.
