The Warlocks impressed me as a former lock myself. What spec is raid viable in this patch? Destruction? Or Demo? Didnt see Drain Soul so I doubly affliction.
This is the kind of voice acting bosses and major NPCs should have, not a dragon speaking in some generic random female voice! I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Metzen himself is voicing Mannoroth here, it's sick
I'll admit there's one thing I don't get in the video. When the Doomlord's Mark of Doom goes out they seem almost unconcerned by it. There's even the part with two of them stacking together for when it gets blown. Is it changed on Mythic to do less damage? Or are they using personal or external cd's to mitigate the damage while taking up as less space as possible?
+Ryan Contant This is because they dont use Shadowbolt Volley (which does 275k dmg) to break the Marks of Doom, but 1 Stack of Doomspike (doing only 50k dmg). You can see the tankswap on the Doomlord at 7:14. So even if 2 Marks explode on eachother, thats only 350k dmg per person (150k per Mark + 50k from the doomspike) which can never be lethal with some minor personals and/or shields from your disc priest
I haven't kept up with wow in a while but was that MM hunter not using aimed shot? What was he dumping his focus with besides Chimera? Or did they make aimed instant again?
***** I think the current 4-set makes it instant. Could be wrong though :P I don't play hunter myself so I'm not sure. But according to some sites I read aimed shot is still the way to dump focus.
Most likely WeakAuras, but it could be TellMeWhen too (those 2 are quite hard to tell apart when you only see the "final result"), though you'd have to configure it to get what it does for him. Btw TMW is said to be easier to configure than WA, but you can litterally do anything with WA and can only track CDs/Buffs/Debuffs and such with TMW.

So, the tanks dealing with a rapid fast combo of high damage and knockback waves to dodge and meteors raining from the sky plus a raid wide push back that is instant death and the fear mechanic that is not soaked right will cover the whole platform in a void zone? None of those hard enough how about the mythic only curse of guldan that is applied to the raid? I think until you actually know the mechanics from playing it you should be quiet.

I just told my personal opinion. For me it looks boring encounter. And it is purely MY OPINION. I get quite amused that people do complain cos I have different opinion that they do. And I highly suggest checking from dictionary that boring doesn't mean easy.
How do you tank? Everything was fine for me but after 6-7 mins into the fight the Boss starts hitting harder and his ability damage goes up. We were 54 seconds past enraged and wiped when boss was at 22%. I'm a 700 Prot War and of all the Norm groups I been in I struggle if Mannoroth or Archimonde fight lasts more than 6-7mins. Dps aren't killing bosses quick enough or tanks get blamed, so far in this expansion, I see no negativities on healers.
+Karren Kuddlesberg I don't think the bosses start hitting harder except for specific special moves, of which you should be aware of. I more think it's healers running OOM from overhealing or having to heal for moves that should be avoided.
if you're dealing with the combos he dishes out just fine, its just a mitigation rotation then. ilvl dont mean much if you dont have a proper rotation for mitigation.

Well Jhazrun is a disc/holy priest. And he's a monster btw (world first garrosh solo healer) But yeah some encounters need specific raid comp for 1st weeks.
The skeleton model looks cool enough for me to disregard that they have been using him as boss for a second time. The fact that his blood was still used to create the fel orcs even after his death is still dumb though.

Difficult to hear Mannoroth. The Boss voices and hence Story aspect are usually one of the strong points of the Paragon videos over the Method videos.
