Christ is in our midst ☦️
I'm also very dismayed that with the progression of technology, the phone calls seem to be disappearing 🥴
We've been created to be in communion with each other; I feel mankind is suffering without that open communion...
    I am frightened by ai.
Thank-you for All Your Beautiful Words🕯️
Lord have Mercy on Your World 🙏☦️🕯️

Many Orthodox churches baptize all in most cases. If we are accepting Catholic and Prodistant Baptisms, then we should just be in communion with them.

I'm baffled as to how one could say that the church set the date for Christmas on the 25th due to the increasing of the light. When all Orthodox people know that that wasn't the original date of christmas. I'm just not sure I understand why one would put an emphasis on that. I mean the theme of what you're saying is great but the part where you say the church intentionally set the date at that time when the new calendar came much later is what kind of baffles me.

I'm not really familiar with the background behind why Fr. Evan mentioned that, but Christmas is also on December 25th on the old calendar. It's not on a different date, it's just that December 25th occurs 13 days later if you are following the old calendar than if you are following the revised calendar.
