Century Carbon Ti £275, Fee Spirit HiS £259, Harrison Aviator £250, Nash Scope Black Ops £220, Even the Carp Masiah's net - ESP 'Terry Hearn" £205. just sayin' 😜
There are so many other great net's on the market for a lot less money 💰 sorry but you can waffle on about it as much as you like, but it just ain't worth £250!! 😢
I don’t doubt for a second that it’s a quality product made with the best materials but that price is ridiculous. Yes in life you get what you pay for and I would never recommend buying something cheap and made poorly just incase it breaks on you but there are so many nets out there that already do an amazing job for a fraction of the price. I mean for Pete’s sake all it’s there for us to scoop a fish up, as long as they didn’t make it from styrofoam im sure it should work! I don’t see any features here that are groundbreaking or revolutionary.
Carpology just do advertising not reviews as such. I’ve not used this net so can’t comment on it, but I don’t think I would swap it for my current Fencil Premium carp net.
Further proof how brainwashed anglers are. I have basic reliable gear & routinely outfish anglers with Basia’s & every tarty kit available including bait boats & drones.
Solar are and have always been a high end brand... Their landing net actually has atleast some sort of innovation to other brands by designing a collapsible net block spreader, which is probably the only problem people have with landing nets (collapsing the net).... I'm not saying that justifies the price of the solar net but korda have clearly just put a high end price on a cheap product..... It's like Gucci bringing out a new pair of shorts for £3000 and Adidas doing the same, it doesn't work like that.... It's like kordas new kaizen rods, just cheap standard blanks with a high end price, it would obviously be a better choice to spend the money with an already established rod making company for example, diawa or century or Harrison's etc. Solar are very good at what they specialise in. Korda just try to get their fingers in all the pies when all they're known for specialising in is end tackle
@@philipglancy8593 but korda have used jag parts does that not give it a better standard than chinese knock off plastic also yes solar are good but its coz korda have made a new choice ppl are hating it just coz solar have been around for years and its because it used to be when companies like solar which are old was making new products everyone wanted to test them but because people have found a good long lasting brand like solar now no one wants to try stuff coz everyone is a tackletart
I recently purchased the green 50” NGT landing net with the dual floats & telescopic handle ! All for £29.99 ! Absolutely amazing value for the money. No words can describe the £250 price tag on a Korda landing net ! 🫢
Yeah, a £40 net will 'do the job', so will a b reg fiesta, what do you drive? Some people want the fancy one, and dont mind paying more, your choice no ones forcing you.
Can somebody tell me how a net that cost £250 is worth every penny of £250 when it does exactly the same as any other net which is to scoop up your quarry ! One for the tackle tarts 🤔
All he told me was it was a light net at the end of the day. But if you feel £250 for a net is for you then go for it. I'd rather make sure that I have a strong Sharp hook and strong quality main line so the fish gets as far as the net.
not worth even half that price, any 42inch landing net will land a fish safely, it won't make you catch more fish. i like korda stuff but they over price everything cos they wasnt to be unique. for korda enthusiasts it's all about the bling or cost rather than the actual fishing it's self. the higher the price tag the better they look... or so they think.
A net doesn't catch you fish but a bad one can lose one. The thing is you don't need to spend much to get a perfectly adequate one. Want top quality, money to burn, tackle tart, go ahead. A nice mountain bike or cheap electric one instead for the same price or a complete new bivy? Let me think for a moment! Lol😂
Got my Wychwood Signature Landing Ne for 7 years. Had carp up to 38 pounds. And had cats up to 55 pounds. And still going strong. 250 £ for a landing net.. U have to be joking .
I dear say it's an amazing net for people with very deep pockets. I've got shallow pockets and my 40 quid Fox net does exactly the same job as this one.
No carp net is worth anything over £150 ridiculous prices of things today . The worse thing is people that buy these have more money than brains . I have a Trakker Sanctuary T8 42" Landing Net NEW Carp Fishing Net for £100 and its a great net
Carpology drive me insane. Everything product they review is great and excellent value. Just be honest for gods sake. Some items are crap and some excellent, please review properly.
To be honest I do like it , looks at one a while ago and really was surprised just how light and strong it is. Personally I'd use a shorter net with it as it's a bit long for my liking. But one thing you forgot to mention is that it floats without the need for a net float. 😉
Honestly this net is worth every penny. It is such a quality net in comparison to others on the market. Massively out performs free spirit nets, trakker and solar nets. And I'm talking from experience. Proud owner of the korda net and definitely money well spent. Absolutely unreal
Carpology are just an advertisement chanel now they don't review they get paid to say good things about products, they say everything they review is good lol
Anyone who's been carping for a while will know that this nets roots lie in the 'Don's of Edmonton springbow' made in the 70s. Similar design but using current materials , nowt wrong with that!!
It may be what it is BUT there isnt a chance i will buying this at that price sorry, you know and i know it simply isnt worth it no matter how much you dolled it up. keep the vids coming.
At the end of the day it's your money and you can spend it how you like but for me the function would have to be exceptional to warrant the price and I just don't see how much better things could get than the same 30plus solid fibreglass handle I've been using for over 15 years (brass ferule has needed a touch of epoxy 2 or 3 times) which I paid £12 for and the succession of dinsmores net heads which have cost me under a tenner a time and only ever needed replacing because the mesh got torn. Sure, the fancy one will almost certainly be lighter but I wouldn't consider my current arrangement heavy and it'll look nicer but is that worth £200+ extra? I just don't get it, I've got nothing against Korda as long as they sing for their supper like everyone else but this just doesn't justify the massive price.
£17 for 45" net and handle by NGT, easy to get the arms in and out of the block. Pushing one product isn't "product comparison". The best I have used is solar Bowlock with its unique push button release. But it's not just that. The arms come together perfectly, still held in the block which is great for safely bringing a big lump back landed in a boat. This one the arms come out of the block like any other. Solaris Bowlock isn't cheap either, but it is different a "special" Oh and whatever your net the mesh eventually rips getting caught on obstructions. I like the idea it's ultra light but reality check you don't hold it above the water for more than seconds, fish are landed with the net under water, I know...s 7:33 hocker, often with a float to counter balance the net weight...what's wrong with that? And actually can the head be too light? I don't want the wind picking it up and flipping it across the swim, onto rods even. Those used to paying higher rate "carp tax" may raid the dwindling "fun money" fun increasing mortgages are stealing fast, for the prestige of having the most expensive. Personally I would rather spend that sort of cash on a season ticket!!!
@@samroberts9386 I have used 3. One isnt the push button bowlock just small pins fitting inside ferrules on the arms. I have 2 different sizes of the push button true Bowlock. Brilliant landing big fish by boat as the net head can be taken off, the arms closed together, rolled and held in a rowlock to be brought to the bank without stress. A friend of mine disliked the arms as they are a bit more floppy than a standard net to click easily in place and he replaced them with stiffer carbon arms. Honestly in the water its not an issue. My advice check one out in store first, for me they are the best...not sponsored or anything. But I still always have a second net set up in case, which could be a £17 NGT one!

using my EQ for 5 already and lots of fish in it (me and my buddies).. looks like pristine new...
Absolutely not worth it. A cynical money grabbing greedy price point.
Korda's not making many friends just recently!
Dont forget to mention you pay for the name. This could easily be 150 quid and they would still make money
