Wo-Chien has placed top 8 at a couple tournaments as early as 2023. Being good in niche formats doesn’t make you a good legendary (see Moltres at the beginning of this video who was good in a niche format). He only placed well because he was tera’d *every* time he was used. Idk if having to change your type to be feasible makes you good especially when being good able to do so is a temporary gimmick of the generation.
I do think Wo Chien should be moved to spot 7 or 8 though. He’s too high on the list given his prior success.

You can tell when someone plays singles based on their opinion of Cresselia in battle. That weird dream duck is all support and all bulk all the time and is super useful in some trick room teams

I mean it makes sense. All other regis have "regi" in their name and is said as "regi[blank]".

Terrakion has seven 2x weaknesses, but Virizion's six have one 4x weakness (flying) so it's kind of the same (one extra type VS one 4x type)

Yeah, 1-2 4x weaknesses on a mon with less weaknesses overall really do offset a mon with more weaknesses but no 4x.

3:20 funnily enough, the biggest reason for the nerf of dark void and subsequently darkrai was actually because of smeargle giving everyone fucking nightmares using the move, becuase whilst darkrai wasnt legal, that doesnt mean the move wasnt
The issue was that they made smeargle unable to use dark void the same generation where they nerfed dark void. Darkrai's dark void just caught a stray bullet because smeargle was using it too hard, and smeargle can't even use it anymore!
@@wispyone3702tbf, if somehow Darkrai became legal, it would have been one hell of a pain with high speed dark void, probably not broken but extremely annoying
See, the problem there is they also changed it so Dark Void can only be used by Darkrai so the nerf to accuracy wasn't needed to stop Smeargle.

@@awqweird zekrom, kyurem and kyurem black are the worst rn. Palkia and dialga(normal form) are basically just as bad and mewtwo and giratina(both) are very rarely seen

Context for those who don’t know: Smeargle can learn every move in the game, including Dark Void, Darkrai’s signature move. It’s so overpowered that Smeargle can’t learn Dark Void anymore and they lowered the accuracy from 80 to 50
Poison needs to have another effect, like lower special attack or could disable a random move on a pokemon.

I like Wo-Chien, but mostly because of its design. I just wish it was better.
Honestly if they just kept its movepool and changed it from Dark/Grass to Dark/Poison it'd be a pretty good mon. The absolute plethora of competitive relevant weaknesses is the main reason it falls apart, and it does do well with tera but that's a huge oppurtunity cost since you can't tera anything else then

Working enough retail you start to have certain days for it but I also would enjoy it.
I’ve worked retail for like 8 to 9 years and I started off being enthusiast and liking that attitude stuff, to hating if people acted weird like that, to maturing and getting more and more used to it and liking it if anyone gives some character when working retail.
At least that’s the progression for me where I enjoy people wanting to have some personality as long as it doesn’t bother the store and other customers horrendously. It’s better than when I welcome someone into the store and get ignored and when they come up and I try to check in on how their day is they just completely ignore me and stay quiet.
You learn to try and appreciate the day as it makes the shift faster where if you go through it trying to stay quiet and being annoyed by everyone then it makes the day drag.

Fezandipiti is decent in VGC, has nice bulk and a good defensive typing so can stick around for a while and use offensive + support moves (icy wind, moonblast, a few poison moves) while also abusing Toxic Chain procs. Definitely not great but enough to stay off the list
A very funny fact for you guys: Wo-Chien, even with Tablets of Ruin, is strictly less bulky than Ting-Lu. Yes, including physically.

Oh easily a fan of Wo-Chien; I think all the Ruinous ones look like Shadow of the Colossus creatures which is a sick aesthetic but Wo-Chien nails it the most. So I do like it as a Pokemon but not enough to argue whether it's competitively viable though

Wo-Chien isn't terrible for Raid supoort, Leech Seed to relyably damage the boss, Ingrain and Leftovers to keep it from going down by constantly healing, Grassy Terrain to heal the whole team passively and Giga Drain for a last resort works suprisingly well
As a retail worker (petrol station attendant), I would be very much amused by someone coming in dressed to the nines.

cresselia is a goat as someone who used it in the volo fight and took down his last 3 pokemon and both giritina stages with cresselia alone i can say it from experience the thing is fricking bulky

This list is in the context of VGC, and specifically tournaments... which are open team sheet, making Frisk useless. On ladder Frisk is nice because they're closed team sheets, best of one battles, but that's not being factored in here

Cobalion was the first legendary I ever caught, as Pokemon Black 2 was my first Pokémon game, and he was my best ‘Mon against the elite four, which makes Wolfey wrong and stupid and wrong.
My favorite legendaries are Lugia(good though), Regigigas and Regice. Believe me I’ve tried to make them work. They just don’t
Pair gigas with galarian weezing or skill swap. Slow start goes away and since gigas is bad it's not considered for a restricted spot so you can have two legendaries on your team. Same goes for slacking

Regigigas got huge boost with Wheezing's Neatralizing Gas, it was a very real threat in Dynamax formats throwing out massive Max moves.
