I have one & can confirm that the board description is absolutely true. As a 60+ year old , very average short boarder, I would say this board bridges the gap in the search for paddle power, speed generation, manoeuvrablility, stability & flow in a very accessible package. Excels in average conditions to waves with more push. Top job Lost.

    Rasta Rob destroyed it.
Only if most knew he's doing this on mostly shit closeouts on the beach. Guy shreds.

Differences between Ripper and Stub Driver 3.0?

Was curious about this as well... parsing photos and descriptions, the main difference seems the bottom contours and tail outline. The stub has a single concave all the way through and out the tail with no double/V like the ripper. The stub's tail outline also looks slightly more pulled in with less of a "hip" bump between the feet. Aka, stub should sit on top of the water more and feel a bit more twitchy, but precise with a narrower tail. The ripper with double/V should roll rail to rail easier with good down the line release. All in all, I'd guess the stub slightly up on the performance scale towards the sub drivers and the ripper a bit more relaxed/step down-ish in it's approach.

How does this compare to 1) Sub driver, and 2) Stub driver?

Just parsed these as I was curious the same thing.
Seems on a scale from most performance to more step down/cruise vibes:
Sub Driver - most performance - slight vee behind back fin.
Stub driver (3.0 anyway) - down a notch from the sub D. - single concave out the back. Very similar outline to sub d.
Ripper - down a notch from the stub/most "relaxed" - generous double/V out the tail. Ripper has more outline curve/wider over all & wider nose/tail.

Pretty hard to make entirely different boards that still work as good as the ones we have now. Not many experiments happening because they don't need to happen.
