The new update coming out for Apple will allow us to customize the phone without having to download apps. Not to mention we will be able to erase text messages in real time and the message will also be removed off the other persons phone.

I was concerned that it would not be powerful enough because I have several older iPads that are slow and cannot update to the latest software. But this 10th Gen has the speed and power. I do not use it for video editing, so having an M2 processor is not necessary for me. This iPad model has an A14 processor. So far so good. Glad I bought it. It helps having a larger screen compared to my Apple phone.
ive had co star for years, Ive downloaded time passages and nebula. they are way more accurate then costar... i still have costar but i highly recommend timepassages and nebula.

@@isabenoriejames I completely agree that the iPad Pro 2020 12.9" is a fantastic tablet. However, something to keep in mind is that Apple announced their updates coming to iPadOS 16 recently and the only "real" updates are gated for M1 and future iPads. So, things like stage manager, proper external display support, reference mode for colour grading - features that would be really useful for a graphic designer and video editor such as yourself - wouldn't be available on the 2020 iPad pro. It is quite a bit more expensive, but you might be able to find a decent deal on Facebook marketplace or a refurbished one. As I say though, the 2020 iPad Pro is more than capable and you wouldn't be wrong in going for that one, but if you value functionality and future proofing (if they only made those features available for the M1 iPads, I'd say it's a pretty fair assumption that they'll continue to do so for next major updates), I'd consider getting the M1

I’d get the ipad pro 12.9 2020 edition, it’s a lot cheaper than the 2021 edition and still a very good ipad
