I’d like to add - Between the eyes - is a must for PvP. We don’t have Kidney Shot yet, so we need this for stuns and there’s a million scenarios where you need that stun. Also it’s ranged… so it’s just tooooo good.
I like to have Improved Sprint, helps alot in pvp. For pve not so much ;) Think its worth to have just 2 in Precision and 4 in Oppurtunity. Actually, the pvp insignia for rogue is not a stun break, it is for others classes like warriors. Rogues can break fear, poly and charm. Why i would alwayse use Between the Eyes over Eviscerate in pvp, u can land more backstabs to a stunt target. And the dmg of a Backstab is, at least with this Skillpoints, higher compared to an Evi, and i dont get hit by stunt target.
I am a Shiv fan in PvE since its cost is lowered by faster offhand weapons pops instant poison with each hit and offers a great filler when you cant get behind your target between downtimes on mobs.

Personally I would rather lean towards human for the weapon skill in case I opt for swords at some point since upcoming runes and potential additional content and gear may very well benefit from that. What's your take on that? Regarding professions, you went for skinning and leatherworking if I am not mistaken. Do you plan on dropping skinning for engineering at some point?
Mutilate is worth imo, all of the talnets benefit mutilate , it gens 2 combo points and hits with both weapons. If youre already using daggers... why not?

Question, garrot sims higher as a pve opener is this only if saber slash spec? With a feral in raid of course watched 2different videos and they said the opposite lol
idk about daggers, i been using mh from bfd raid and my sinisters hit just as hard if not harder then backstab/muti. ive hit multiple 400+ crits with just sinister
what about mutilate/envenom/deadly brew same build double dagger? im nuking in pvp without having to be behind while i havent yet tested in pve (saber sash only tested and its good but i didnt have double dagger)
I liked it, but I’ve been preferring this build to be honest. Getting behind can be annoying at times but it gets easier to learn the control. Sinister strike can still chonk for me too if I absolutely can’t get behind.
Why did you show a clip at the start of a flag that got away, and the horde are winning 2/3 at the time i dont see the point :D. Also your spec is completely wrong for wsg, you do some more damage sure, but you cant connect to the efc ever, no improved sprint, no endurance, both evasion and sprint are on 5 min cd. Its fine tho you will learn eventually (also night elf male :D), just do some more research before posting guides, if you care about the quality.
Gouge, disengage. Vanish, stalk sap. When all else fails face roll, thistle tea, and pump. Remember additional combo points don’t really help you on slice & dice for quick skirmishes. Better off saving for the stun, bandage, reengage.
Backstab into slice and dice. 2x backstab into slice refresh. Thistle tea. 3x backstab into slice and dice refresh. Continue to keep up slice and dice as much as possible and use expose armor when you are topped on slice and have energy to spend. Rinse and repeat for pve
Maybe I understood something wrong at "3x backstab into slice and dice refresh." but how should I backstab 3 times then refresh s&d if backstab uses 60 enegery per? Or is it just meant like backstab 3 times in a row with waiting for more energy and then slice and dice?@@gizmo6606
He probably just didn't want to shell out for assassins blade, and he shouldn't it's a waste of gold. There is a fast offhand that drops in BFD anyway.

@@SteveJones-sy4fc there's another bfd dagger for off hand. Meteor shard is still good for offhand just cause high dps. For pvp faster is better there's just not really any good options unless you shell out for assassins blade

Why don't you just use a weapon swap macro? I use one and and it really helps with dps. I have also been using runes on 2 sets with macro's for easy swaps on runes, can't do it in combat but works with vanish if say you you been using sabre and a mage roots u and is creating distance can vanish literally hit shadowstrike bind twice and shadowstrike to them. Can't go back to sabre until fight ends but that's why I use a sword. Back stab is great and all but with the world pvp and bg's I find it's not very often I can just chill attacking from behind. Can also use rune swap for chest to get energy bonus or slow and that one is very useful too. I don't think the swap delay is noticable really. I have great ping so not sure if that why but I wouldn't change it anytime
Panther armor for PvE and blackened defias armor for PvP. Panther armor is from a quest chain starting in Stonetalon, Cenarius' Legacy, you will need a group for the 2nd and final quests in the chain. Blackened defias drops from VanCleef in DM.
Poisons:
PvE Im using Instant on both weps.
If WF druid in group, instant on OH only.
PVP instant main, crippling off.
Stop spreading misinformation, in pve u dont even use poisons….

You can’t use envenom without the brew rune as you don’t have access to deadly poison yet.
Wingblade is main hand only. Just for everyones info.
Ntb for pvp but deadly brews is way to strong to pass up in pve vs the backstab build if you want to top charts.

Because the backstab rune does not effect mutilate sadly making the energy cost vs dps output not worth.
Newb question, are you suggesting 3 backstabs when solo pveing? If so how do you get behind the target without stunning them?
by PVE content, i'm sure he means dungeons / raid where its very easy to get behind anything
Tip for shadow strike, make a macro to cast it then backstab immediately after.

You can macro shsdowstrike to swap to mutilate or saber. Is mutilate trash compared to BS spam ?

I like it better personally. It’s also what I’ve spent the most time in though. I’ll play around more with that build though for sure!
