Texas Children's Cancer Center, world renowned for its work in pediatric care and hematology disorders, offers innovative therapies for all forms of childhood cancer and blood disorders. That of course is nothing you achieve and then say, 'Great, I've done it, we're now excellent', I think excellence is something you continuosly strive for."
The physcians, nurses, social workers, child life specialist and even the people working in the laboratory, they know they are taking part in something that can impact the lives of children that are not only here in Houston, but around the world.
Texas Children's has 26 research labs dedicated to cancer research within our cancer center. We have people who are devloping new drugs to treat cancer that are only available here. That research directly relates to patient outcomes.
My child goes here. It is very difficult to watch your child go through so much. I take my 4 year old twice a week for Aplastic anemia which is treated as if it were cancer and just as deadly. I am so thankful for all the staff. They make it fun here and really involve the whole family including siblings. I know my daughter is in good hands. She loves it here and so do I.

Shannon Howard a friend of mine had Aplastic Anemia back in the 80’s. He had a bone marrow transplant, but it didn’t work and he lost his battle with the disease. He went to Cook Children’s in Ft. Worth Tx.

honestly When I found out I had herpes, I was completely lost because I didn't know what to do and I worried about how the incident would affect my relationship. I couldn't go about it but positive thinking and a healthy approach keeps me going. I tried finding help in all possible area but my efforts were to no avail. But with the help of Dr cletus, I discussed the issue with him and I was treated so after some times I went back for another test which came out NEGATIVE and I want to say a very thanks to you Dr Cletus for helping me..

I love that the hospital is so colourful and there are playing areas for little patients❤️ Colours to dark times. It’s really important to give children as positive experience as its possible.

I found out on facebook that the bone marrow transplant unit at this large pediatric cancer and blood disorder center has thier own Super Bowl party probably since the 1998 Super Bowl.

that place is amazing I go there to the cancer center it's amazing the doctors and nurses there treat you good the child life is to when you go there on a holiday they do a party there they have face painting and other things I just made a year going there I go once a month now it was really scary once they took me into the emergency room I still think to my self why me what did I do I had to stop going to school and my hair was really long I'm just growing my hair back but everyone there is amazing

Institutional child abuse, those doctors make a mint out of those sick children!!! Conventional cancer treatment can both kill and cure, people have died due to chemotherapy!!! However, lives have been saved!!! If I was a child I would keep away from those hell- holes called children's cancer wards, telling the doctors/nurses to fuck off!!! See the case of Cassandra C!!! Do not on any account let your precious child have chemotherapy; let them die with dignity!!!

I wonder if they would be in it, if their pay was a mere £9000 dollars a year? They are just in it for the money!!! Doctors induce babies to play golf at the weekends, and can be unethical. See if they would treat you if you had no insurance, American medical bills have left people destitute. Renee, see if they would be so "nice", if you were homeless, black, or had no medical insurance. Patients and nurses have reported bullying from doctors, they also do rape and domestic violence. Medicine is very cutthroat and dog eat dog. Do you know that doctors had female healers burned as " witches ", and female doctors faced horrific opposition and sexual harassment.
