I love these so far! I owned so many these and dreamed of owning them all. I still have my Spider Ock and he’s in my Spider Verse display. This show was such a strong influence on me and the nerd I am today.
Just like wave one, I never had the Spider-man figure from this wave either. Sadly, I never had the Vulture either and it bummed me out just like it did for wave one Dr. Octopus. About Kraven though, I think you have the spear in his hand wrong. I always used it like I did for the Mjolnir throwing Thor from the older Toy Biz figures. I put that slightly smaller part of the spear into the top of his hand and then pulled his arm back and released. Though it didn't work nearly as well as with Thor. Both he and Mjolnir were made from a smoother plastic and the part of Mjolnir that was put into Thor's fist was a bit smaller than the hole in the fist itself. It's not exactly how you would throw a spear but I think it was the only way I could get it to work. I still have that Mjolnir but that smaller handle part has long since broken off. I use it with my Beast Wars basics figures. It always looked best with Airazor though. Now that I think of it, she kinda looks like Hawkwoman when she holds it.
Woah! Vulture has a Silverhawks gimmick! Right on. If these 3 waves is all they ever released, then its so worth it to hunt these all down. Another great review & I just finished watching the wave 3 video too, that super posable SM is *REALLY COOL!* I do have a-LOT of toys, but no ASM cartoon toys, unfortunately. Thanks for sharing
Say what you will about toybiz,these early figures are unlike anything we have ever seen ir will ever see. They were toys but did look goofy and were like watered down legends. Wish figures like these were still around
Managed to get the Kingpin, Alien Spider-Slayer (used it as a generic alien monster) and Lizard from this wave (Lizard's lab coat eventually disintegrated!). Never found Peter Parker but used another version from the "Spider Power" toybiz line as a stand in (And I always wanted The Vulture & Kraven but never found them either!)
You know what’s sad that the kingpins was all you could find back in the day and now you can’t find him anywhere luckily I got him a few weeks ago the new one
what kind of clear plastic peg stands are you using and can they be used from multiple characters throughout multiple shows in the five-inch marble line of action
Neca stands and you can find em at Target. they work with neca mostly, some figures from other brands will work, but largely they'll be too small or to fat
