It was a blind-buy for me, and I agree with your take on this. I have four fragrances from Nishane, and this is my absolute favorite, even above "Ani.' It is challenging, and when you first spray it, you will think you have made an expensive mistake. However, allow it to settle, and it is simply amazing.
When I first got it I was disappointed due to what I’ve read and watched. I let it sit for about a year and went back to it and it’s a love now. This fragrance needs time and air to macerate. Thanks for your thoughts.
I just got this fragrance. I just love tobacco fragrances. Is it just me or I seem to get hits of oud.🧐 This also reminds me of a couple other smell goods I have. And think 💬🤔 it's something in there that stands out to me, I get tobacco and oud and I good with that 😎
Such great timing on this review - I just blind bought Fan Your Flames based on the notes and tried it yesterday. I love the boozy opening and when I first sprayed it I thought I had found a new favorite! But as it dried down, it became extremely sour/bitter on my skin. Almost exceedingly masculine. The same thing happens when I wear Hacivat, so could it be the oakmoss? Anyway, loved hearing your thoughts on this one - really wish it worked for me...
Sometimes aromatic woods can turn a tish sour on my skin too. I don’t mind it. But I can definitely see people not liking it. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you!
@@BeautyMeow thanks for the reply and for letting me know that woods can go a little sour in general! I ended up trying both FYF & Hacivat on my boyfriend and while they still skew slightly sour on him, it’s not as pronounced as it is on me and actually works for him. Like you, he’s blessed with the most amazing chemistry for fragrances. But sadly he’s not interested in them at all! 😣

You definitely have to be a bit patient with it. But it’s worth the wait!

I guess I'll be purchasing this scent just for the name!
Loooove Istanbul ❤

So beautiful
I really adore your personality. Sharp and gentle.
Oh thank you!
What is up with people recording videos and always looking at themselves instead of the camera....pass.....
You ruined this beautiful fragrance for me
