Yes! You will love the movie "Uncle Buck". It stars this same kid (Macaulay Culkin), and the big guy in the polka band who gave the mom a ride back to Chicago (John Candy).
I am a teacher at a Germany comprehensive school. Over here it is tradition at most schools to watch a Christmas film with the students in the last lessons. Mostly the students wish to watch this one. Just the day before yesterday I watched it with a bunch of tenth graders. It is probably the most beloved Christmas film in Germany. In some Eastern European countries it is of kind of special importance, because it was one of the first films from the USA to be shown in cinemas after the Iron Curtain fell. I certainly know how big this film also is for our neighbours in Poland.
It's so "sweet" that John Candy and Macaulay were together again in this after Uncle Buck. Even though they didn't share a scene together, close enough. The funeral story by Candy was completely improvised, which makes it even more hilarious, rest in peace...Marv's spider death scream is legit. He really had arachnophobia. The greatest crime committed in this movie is certainly... that Kevin never even gets to eat his highly nutritious Macaroni and Cheese. He's most well known for this but "The Good Son" and "My Girl" I highly recommend. "What, now?" "No tomorrow ya egghead yeah now!" 😂
The Home Alone movies must have been written by someone who grew up and loved watching the 3 stooges. Their slapstick physical comedy for the 1920’s was so so funny. Great Movie and reaction. I enjoyed watching with you. !!
I assure you, brothers, no child in our house (or most houses) would have said to their mother, “Why don’t you try and make me?” I never actually saw it happen but we all knew we’d be struck by lightning.

Quick note (someone touched on it briefly, wanted to add a bit more) but the icons and images of saints and Jesus are accepted in Christianity. If you’re curious, in the early church there was a massive debate over the use of icons that sparked the iconoclast heresy, which wanted the complete removal of icons and images. I think it would be an interesting video for you to react to early Church heresies and compare it to your own faith on your second channel! I love when you guys talk about Algeria and your Faith because I get to learn direct from the source. Icons are not common in most American Churches because we are a largely Protestant Christian country. You will find them in Catholic and Orthodox churches, and icons and statues of saints are especially present in the Southwest US (Spanish Catholic influence from centuries ago).
Catholic here. We show Jesus because we believe Him to be God in human form. (Part of the Holy Trinity. A bit too long to explain here. Also not trying to convert you two.) We also show Saints in statues not because of worshipping them (which we don’t) but out of remembrance like remembering our ancestors and our family. The literacy rate was very low back in the early days of the church and when people weren’t able to read the Bible, using statutes was the best way for being able to understand the stories and provide visual representation. We celebrate Christmas because it’s the celebration of Jesus’s birth. So we go to church on Christmas Eve or Day. (Easter being the resurrection) Christmas also is also celebrated around the time of when many pagan holidays in Rome and Germany were held. It’s believed His birth may have been around the time of 25th because of the star mentioned in the Bible. There’s some reports from ancient China of seeing the star mentioned in the Bible around that time from Chinese astronomers. Love your guy’s reactions and I hope you react to “Home Alone 2.” There’s a lot of callbacks to the first movie and I find it to be better than the first. There’s also more bizarre traps.
Hi there! Muslim here who used to be Christian. We (Muslims) know who Jesus is (peace be upon him.) We know that Christians believe in the trinity and that they believe he is the son of God. We believe him Jesus (peace be upon him.) We just don't believe in the trinity or that he is the son of God. We believe he is a prophet who performed many miracles. Representation of people and animals is prohibited in our places of worship due to the tendency of people to turn them into idols. I hope you're having a lovely time with your family this month. :) May God guide us all.
How slippery those stairs are is real. We call it "black ice." It's a driver's worst nightmare. It's a real life saver that they salt the roads here in winter. I remember one night it misted all afternoon and then in the evening it froze. Everything was coated in a thin smooth sheet of ice. I had taken my bike to work but I couldn't ride it home. I had to walk, and it was so slippery i could barely take a step, had to waddle like a penguin. I used my bike as a 3rd leg to help keep balance, but I had to be very careful so the weight of the bike didn't throw me off balance instead. Uphill i couldn't use the sidewalk at all and had to climb up people's front lawns. Even the grass was slippery and I pushed my feet into the dirt to throw my bike in front of me on its side so the pedals dug into the ground to keep the bike from sliding down hill. But on the other side of the hill I slid down on my butt - at least that part was fun.
