- Hey, friends! Today's video is full of transformation! Our backyard was way out of hand. We did not thrive outside this summer. We spent most of our time inside because of the high temperatures and Ollie prefers to not swim. Lol. We are so glad cooler weather is on it's way and now our backyard is so cozy and ready for us!! :-) I hope you enjoy this process as much as we did!!

It looks great!! Today is our 7th anniversary, so we're celebrating with date night out to dinner later. 💍
This reminds me I need to plant our daffodil bulbs. Whenever they bloom it’s always the first sign of spring and then they come back every year. ☀️
We love hanging out outside in Summer and Fall, but usually inside in Winter. Your backyard looks amazing! How fun is that s'mores board. Love it!

We live on 2 acres and have a pole barn. A portion of that barn floor is concreted and we have a cookout area set up there. During the fall/winter months we will cookout there and sit by the fire. As a family, we spend quite a bit of time out there.

Oh Lauren your backyard is just beautiful and so cozy!!! I live in Georgia so we’re still waiting on the FALL weather to get here. (I think Georgia is really Florida #2!) We went to church today and came home to eat a spaghetti dinner 😋 But to answer your question, yes I build fires in the firepit and love enjoying the outdoors whenever the weather cools 🍂🍁 I like raking and redoing my flower beds in the FALL too 😊 Happy Sunday to y’all ❤️
I love how the back yard turned out! Looks cozy and inviting! You did a great job. Dollar General really does have some nice things. I get a lot of things from there. They have come along way. We eat s’mores with reseses’ too! Love Larry’s pizza. My niece use to work there. I love that place. Thanks for sharing! 😊🍂🍁🎃
I live in eastern NC about an hour from the OBX beaches. Once the weather warms the mosquitoes will eat you alive! So early Fall is actually nicer. I plan on having a goodbye Summer soup and hot dog dinner with s'mores with some friends. Oliver is adorable! My youngest granddaughter is turning 2 on November 12. ❤

👋 You can pressure wash wooden chairs to get the mold out, then seal it to prevent future discoloration! Same thing works for porches & decks 😊

We live in Texas, and if the sun doesn't cook you, then the mosquitoes will bleed you dry. Unfortunately, we don't spend as much time outside as we'd like because of it. We end up spending a lot of time indoors
Great job outside , love those mum's too . I live in Texas so outdoor living is huge in the fall if it ever cools off . It's still very hot in Texas , but I will definitely be in my back yard with a bonfire as soon as weather permits .
Lauren just a recommendation for Oliver..have to tried swim classes for him to get more comfortable with the pool?

I spend way more time outside in the Fall than the summer! NC heat in the summer is awful 😅. I laughed so hard when I seen Oliver put the whole marshmallow in his mouth and when he ran over to grab some chocolate 😂. He is the cutest! I love the purple mums! Those are my favorite! 🧡🍂
