On a real note, Hans Zimmer said in an interview that he wanted to music to be played on something that outlast any other instrument (the voice) to be his main instrument. He also said that he wanted his music to be different than normal music today because 20,000 years in the future music probably won’t be in 4/4 time signature all the time
What pleased me the most about Dune was how Denis Villeneuve took inspiration from H.R. Giger's designs from the legendary unfilmed Dune from Alejandro Jodorowsky for House Harkonnen. Seeing Geidi Prime felt like seeing Giger rise from the dead as the Baron stands.
@@ingenieroriquelmecagardomo4067 Exactly. Not everyone can stomach Giger nor his art but as a fan of gothic art of all types (And we're both Aquarius) I cannot deny him his due credit for contributing his warped and disgusting visions for Alien and others.

Naf, you are overrating it a lot, the soundtrack is mediocre and repetitive like almost all of Hans Zimmer's work, the music of the Dune games do transmit a space opera in all its aspects ua-cam.com/video/D_deOe3fpXc/v-deo.html

I never get tired of the sinister clangs, especially during the first visit to Giedi Prime.
This was the best movie I have been on in a cinema, cant wait for the second one.
hey from the future, I just watched it today, it's real good
Also from the future, the Harkonnens were hypnotic in this, too. Best sci-fi movie villains in a long, long time.

Baron stole the movie for me....other people was good but he despite very little screen time totaly nailed every sceen with his presence...
The Baron Harkonnen was played with such menace in the Dune Part One movie, compared to the high camp of the previous Lynch version.

From 8:39 to 12:33 the ship looks terrifying.
Its design is based on the Bubonic Plague as the harkonnens are like a disease.
How does this look like the bubonic plague it looks more like a tumor

The core theme (12:35) is simple yet effective: it represents the primal fear an animal feels when chased by a predator

I really like how the infrared lightening with this music set the brilliant brutalist and fascist tone of Giedi Prime.
