AWESOME VIDEO MCL, switching is the BEST thing abt short line railroads! I could watch them all day. I live by a short line railroad and our backyard is butted up to the ballasting at the track and get to see 2 MP15AC's twice a day. They're my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE locomotives and on occasion I'll chase them to get pics and videos. I'm new to your channel and I'm viewing it from Delmar, Delaware.
Every day is a good day when there's switching involved. I'm sure these railroaders are paid well, must be nice. Video with narration was quite good and enjoyable.
Most SW1500's have the EMD Flexicoil trucks installed. This switcher had the lighter duty lower speed trucks installed that are a carry over from the SW1200. The SW1200RS was originally built with the Flexicoil trucks as well.
Danny Holt Nancy and I became acquainted thru the horse business..i had horses at Windsor Raceway and she worked for a trainer there...we had many good times...
Nice little switching loco 😝 Good commentary as it helps understand what’s happening 👍 Nothing like this back home in the UK 🇬🇧 anymore 😩 Cheers Stevie
pretty good eye... but it don't matter anyway... these end cab units with a F or no F, crews ALWAYS get confused as to which way is forward LOL... i know i did
i rebuilt the engine on 107 back in about 2012 after it broke its crankshaft
watching that made me feel like I was back at work, worked at etr as brakeman and conductor(in the 80`s)
Love those SW1500's. Great switcher.

Good video, I've grown up in Windsor watching the ETR, glad you did a video of it
Awesome video man! As a guy who grew up watching ETR trains all over Windsor this is great to see
Filming at 7AM gets you a Like and a Sub
The shoreline railroad in my home town had switchers paint scheme that looked just these.
Great video man!
Great video!
Nice video, audio very good as well!
More than a few times i was held up by one of their trains crossing Huron Church Line ...
Are the trucks on that SW1500 from another locomotive?

Thanks, I guess that’s what threw me off. I’m used to seeing the flexicoil trucks on them. I see that the SW1000 had these slower speed trucks.
Essex Terminal Railway runs 21 miles.
I HOPE THEY JOIN THE US AND CANADA INTO ONE.EXCEPT THE FRENCH PART.Not very friendly.
Great video... please stand farther away from the crossing bells... they over power your video!
The Elder family are the owners of this transfer line..I was a good friend of their daughter Nancy...
That was cool! Does she work in the family business now (or then)? Hope you two have remained friends and kept in touch. Cheers, Dan
