That red camo Ormsby 6-string (normal fret) baritone w/ the single humbucker & single volume knob was badass! I want it!
I don't care for their multi-scale design, It's definitely unique, and I could see the benefits for shred, or extremely fast playing, but that's not my playing style. I'll stick with normal fretboards.

Very cool video. This was awesome. The transition from becoming just "the gear guy" to making yourself the product of your channel was great - not overly rushed, natural growth and pretty seamless.

NAMM is almost pleasant before it opens, the only noise is people vacuuming

I went in 2011 and got there as soon as doors opened on Thursday, it was so quiet for the first 30 minutes then turned to straight chaos. That was before UA-cam and people clamoring to be the best UA-cam NAMM reporters, I can’t imagine what it’s like now in there.
The fortin lunchbox amp sounded better than the larger one....
Probably because the large one needs to be cranked a little more to sound better

@Lonnie Abbott - It was almost an overwhelming number of different guitar manufacturers there! Not like the old days when there was just a few. I just wonder how much they are all starting to squeeze each other out of business or reducing each others profits!

Fortin Amps are gonna be killer, I like the lunch box amp, sounded absolutely brutal. Bluguitar looks like they’re coming out with a all in one floor rig, that might be the future in guitar amps? Cool video Ola, thank you for showing us guys who couldn’t get out to NAMM this year. Yes, there are guys out there that just want to see Louise, damn perverts. Lol

The next NAMM, if you love exotic woods, please visit Sjuman Instruments booth from Indonesia. They sell the good boutique guitar with exotic woods. And the most important is, they use only used/abandoned woods from fallen trees or abandoned/sinking ship. Chugging the future for our grandkids, right?!

In case anyone is wondering, you can buy the DuckTit™️ Guitar on Amazon for a reasonable $25,000. The only bad part is they charge $4.49 for shipping. Search for Minarik Leda to find it.
Just gotta say the other Minarik guitars look badass. They have one in ocean burst for 500 bucks that I am seriously considering.

I like how one of the Aristide guitars was skinned in carbon fiber and IIRC they don't use carbon fiber in the body normally - it's a proprietary composite designed to be transparent but hyper environmentally stable and light/fast. The things are built more like a modern surfboard than anything, but if I were benchmarking pickups, that's the mount I'd use. I don't understand why they made a tele style except people probably asked. Tosin's space tele makes a lot of sense and actually rips. These are made to be basically more transparent than basswood but the features and sustain that you can get from modern engineered materials. They're basically the best in that field. Maybe old Steinbergers? Acrylic is a novelty...
