What I LOVE about you is your not constantly selling your brushes your books your ...... everything ! You are only interested in sharing what you know. This is awesome and VERY unusual. I lift my hat off to you for your morals and generosity in sharing your amazing talent. I'm learning so.much from you I can't tell you how much it is appreciated.
I totally agree with Ms. Graydon. Paul is a supremely gifted artist and beyond that he is a great teacher who inspires us not only through his style but also his desire to spread his knowledge of art. I doff my hat to him.
Lovely painting! Just right for the wet autumn. I am amazed with how my mind's eye adds color when you don't. This is a very monochromatic image, but the few dabs of color you carefully placed have a powerful impact. Thank you again!
Finally, a watercolor video without a dull or lengthy intro, a dynamic subject instead of a boring still life, bonus points: unique background music and something a lot of artists' videos have a paucity of: humor.
I am professional artist in oils and admire your technical use of dry brush, scratching off highlights and using pastel touches...artistic brilliance!..Thanks!
Well you’re my favorite painter but as I watch your tutorials I begin thinking that I can paint that way! I have to constantly bring myself back to what is so and tell myself you have to paint more and watch Paul less is you want to paint like him!
Hi Paul! I discovered you by surfing watercolor on youtube. What a fabulous artist and teacher you are! I have been painting in acrylics for 30 years and just a few years ago I switched to watercolors. Your videos have taught me so much i didnt know..... Thank you ! I love your videos...Great sense of humor too!
GOSH! I STARED AND STARED AT THE REAL BEAUTY OF THIS!! Well done you.... well done and leaving us so much more enthused to keep painting, drawing and always always .... paint.
Thank you, thank you...finally an artist who knows how to paint and more importantly knows how to teach. It has been days of surfing to find a tutor I am comfortable with and who makes the kind of painting I aspire to make some day.
Paul, your intruction is priceless! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent. I learn everytime I paint along or view your videos. One point perspective, reflections, and the final details really defines this rainy city street.
I really enjoy watching and learning from your videos. As a beginning watercolor user, these lessons have been enormously helpful. I am introducing my 6 yo grandson to watercolor and using your videos. He also is starting to watch and you try some of your techniques. Thank you so much for the sharing of your gift. God Bless.
Hi Paul, thank you for answering my question and yes I should have picked up on the accent. He taught me so much, I loved his easy humourous way of painting and eexplaining. I also quite enjoyed your work, one can always tell when one has had fprmal training. I shall return from time to time. I am a self-taught watercolorist out of it for 10 years but am anxious to get into loose painting. I can't tell you what a relief it has been, doing painting this way
I've been a meticulous, uptight inker for 40 years. I've spent the last month immersed in watercolors (well not literally). I'm about to tackle a rainy night scene, and I believe this video will get me rolling. Thank you.
Love watching your tutorials @Paul Clark, you are a great teacher! Your UA-cam tutorials are super informative & gets us straight to the joy of painting a decent picture. I love your clear explanation n not wasting time as in many other people's tutorials. Thank you
Oh my word! You are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G🌞! I am humbled. Thankyou for graciously sharing your talent. You are a fabulous artist and a generous man. Nothing left to say. And I'm not often speechless!
Love this painting Paul! I’ve been a fan of yours for a couple of years now. I’m from Cape Cod MA. I always refer you to my watercolor friends and will continue to do so. I think you are a wonderful artist and I love your humor! Keep making your videos because I paint with you weekly!
Bravo!!! I was just going to ask you about doing a rainy scene and I came across this. I will be brave and jump in!! I love the urban scenes. Love your snowy landscapes too! but....really I love everything you do! Thank you Paul....I am improving quickly with your tutorials..
Great demo. I can't wait to try this. I painted the one with the orange umbrella in your book twice. The better one I gave as a gift to a relative who sent me some paint. I just discovered your UA-cam videos yesterday. They are fantastic. Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful tutorial, and love the paintings at the end. Rain portraits are nostalgic for me simply because I love rainy, warm city nights. Thank you so much! Peace and Blessings from Texas USA 🌹❤🌹
It seems unfair that one human can possess such artistic skill, such inspiration to create, such personality and such professional presentation ability. So much intolerable crap on UA-cam these days. Your channel represents what everyone should strive for. I am a huge (not overweight) fan and choose you when I have time to sit down and learn. Something had better inspire me soon to get back to my creative side. Thank you for what you do!!
I really love how you use the soft pastels with your watercolor paintings. They compliment each other perfectly. Brilliant! I’m really enjoying learning your techniques as I’m new to watercolors. It is opposite to oils but I love the challenge & the unique effects of watercolor paints. Also like less toxins & the versatility overall 😊
Hi Paul, as a traditional oil painter I find painting with water colours extremly challenging. But you really make it easy to find an access to the techniques and the composition of an aquarell painting. Thanks a lot for your lessons, a big hug from Germany! Warm wishes, Daniela
Thank you! Working on my perspective painting and found this in your tutorials! Loved watching this unfold and how you started with the vanishing point! I will try to paint this at some point, but wanted to do the street scene in your watercolor book first!! Thank you as always - you are so generous with your teaching skills. Janell

Oh thank you Mary - It's one of the things that drives me mad too so I appreciate you noticed.!
I totally agree with Ms. Graydon. Paul is a supremely gifted artist and beyond that he is a great teacher who inspires us not only through his style but also his desire to spread his knowledge of art. I doff my hat to him.
Precisely the reason he’s sold me on buying them 🤗🤗🤗
“YOUR not” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
