I am still learning, this is what I have found so far. I like to hear how the teacher thinks of things they play, and see if that suits my learning. For example I find it much more educational to hear the teacher call out Intervals rather than fret and string numbers. Especially if the Teacher thinks in Intervals. It takes a bit more work on the part of the Student, but heaps more beneficial in understanding what to play imho
