honestly every year toy companies try but the standards always are big sellers, Transformers, Barbie dolls and sets, maybe a creation set, lego sets, maybe a marble run, hot wheels, stuff like that. for the adult collector market SH Figurarts, masterpiece transformer sets or the collectors club exclusives, Pokemon is always hot, D&D, warhammer, japanese model kits if you find a decent one, yugioh was hot but since the format switch not as much anymore, and sometimes magic the gathering. i just watch the sales and usually this stuff flies off the shelf and its always empty trying to find them. look at the amazon sales of gundam and anime things as that stuff is hard to get and often they are out of stock. i barely find most of the stuff i listed and its usually easy to find but during the holidays its so hard to find anything. even My little pony flies off shelves.
